Prophecy to the Greek or Western man is prediction and fulfilment.  To the Jew, it is pattern.

The Jewish sages compiled the 150 psalms long ago.  We have forgotten how. They divided the Psalms into 5 books just like the Torah, or first 5 books of the Bible.  5 was the number for grace, the unmerited favor of God, and the Torah had 5 books.  They believed these 5 books could be correlated with human life:   

    Genesis is the book of life and election.

    Exodus is the book of redemption.

    Leviticus is the book of sanctification.

    Numbers is the book of testing and experience.

    Deuteronomy is the book of divine government. 

Or:

          Genesis – God forms the soul.

          Exodus – Birth

          Leviticus – Childhood, learning right from wrong.

          Numbers – Active life

          Deuteronomy – God takes the soul back.

If the Christian Bible had 5 books of the Psalms, the bible would not contain 66 books, but 70. According to the internet, the number 70 in the Bible means completeness, fullness, and divine order.  

JR Church was a pastor who moved to Oklahoma City in 1979, where he started a television show named Prophecy in the News. He went to the LORD in 2011, but his organization still has a website. He published a book, Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms in 1986.  He added material in 1990. He believed that the psalms represented years of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, e.g., Psalm 1 represented 1901; Psalm 2, 1902; Psalm 100, 2000; Psalm 126, 2026 and so on. He believed the first two digits of 19 came from the psalms being the 19^th book of the Bible. In other words, the psalms were a giant code. Initially, I thought this preposterous, but I had read other works by him and was impressed with his body of knowledge, so I bought his book.  It did not give precise information for each and every psalm, but certain psalms sure fit his speculations as I will detail. Much, if not most of this work, is his. He did not believe in British Israelism meaning the lost tribes of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, are Great Britain and America. At least since the Seven Years War, better known as the French and Indian War in America, from 1756 to 1763, world history has been driven by the Anglo-Saxon nations who are the lost tribes of Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, as delineated by Genesis 22:17, 48, 49:22- 26, and Deuteronomy 33:13-17, who had the blessings of God, the greatest blessings in the world.

Many Christians are aware of the story of Jacob and Esau. Esau was the first born of twins from Isaac’s wife Rebekah per Genesis 25:25. Hence, Esau would get the birthright and the blessing.  Esau thought so little of the birthright that he sold it to his brother Jacob for a bowl of lentil stew with bread per Genesis 25:19-34. The birthright consisted of: 1. Leader of the tribe, or king of the nation, 2. Priest of the tribe, or High Priest of the nation, 3. Double portion of inheritance. Since Esau and Jacob were two, when their father Isaac died, they would each get an equal portion of the inheritance, but the one with the birthright got an extra portion. Hence, when he had the birthright, Esau was to inherit two of the three portions of Isaac’s estate. Since Esau sold the birthright to Jacob, legally, Jacob would now get 2/3s. Regarding the twelve tribes of Israel, the one with the birthright would get an extra portion of two of thirteen portions.  In Genesis 48:5, Jacob adopts Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, in effect making them tribes of Israel, thus giving Joseph the double portion of the birthright per 1 Chronicles 5:2 though Judah got the kingship, and Levi, the priesthood. Hence, there were thirteen tribes of Israel, not twelve. If you look at a map of the distribution of Canaan to the tribes of Israel, there are thirteen large pieces of land, but Manasseh got two portions, one in the Golan east of the Sea of Galilee, and another adjacent Ephraim in northern Israel, separated by the Jordan River. The priestly tribe of Levi got several cities within Israel, but not much land as they were scattered in Israel per Genesis 49:7. Also, America had thirteen colonies at its beginnings.

Numbers 2 describes the camp of Israel after the Exodus with the Tabernacle and Levites in the center, and three tribes in each of the cardinal directions of east, south, west, north, again thirteen tribes.

I suspect most Americans believe Judah got the birthright and the blessing by being the tribe of the kings (Genesis 49:10), beginning with David. It is a common belief that the northern tribes, the so-called “ten lost tribes,” became pagan and were lost to history and God, but this is not true. In Ezekiel 37:16-17, God says His prophet will take the stick marked Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions (Benjamin, Simeon, Levi, and refugees from the other lost tribes) and the stick marked Ephraim and for all the house of Israel, his companions in his hand, the bulk of the so-called lost tribes, where they will become one stick in his hand The LORD will reunite all the tribes of Israel in Israel, soon in my opinion.  

What about the blessing of prosperity? Jacob blessed Joseph and his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, in Genesis 48:15,16, 20. Hence, the blessing of prosperity passed to Joseph’s sons and not Judah. He noted Ephraim would come first and be a multitude of nations in Genesis 48:19, to be followed by Manasseh. In Genesis 49, Jacob gathers his sons together. In verses 22-26, great blessings are given to Joseph “by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel.” This is a reference to Christ, the Messiah. Hence, I would expect them to receive these blessings while they are Christian nations, i.e., the period since the birth of the church in 32 or 33 AD. I would expect them to be hyperpowers, first Ephraim and later Manasseh during the last two thousand years of Christianity. 

Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) would be separate from their brothers per Genesis 49:26 and Deuteronomy 33:16. This occurred in 732 BC when Assyria attacked Israel removing all the northern tribes except for Ephraim and a half tribe of Manasseh. In 722 BC, Assyria returned to carry them off as well, and they were lost to history. I doubt that they were placed with the tribes that Assyria had earlier removed. Hence, they were separate from their brothers. A tribe of Manasseh has been found in eastern India near Bangladesh, likely the half-tribe east of the Jordan River, taken in 732 BC by the Assyrians.

Jacob said in Genesis 48:19 that Ephraim would be a multitude of nations. In the last two thousand years of earth’s history, this could only apply to Great Britain and the British Empire, the hyperpower of the 19^th century, to be followed by the hyperpower of the 20^th century, America (Manasseh). Although the British Empire was nominally a Christian nation when founded, it truly became a great Christian nation under William Wilberforce, who succeeded in outlawing the slave trade after a twenty-year battle in the British Parliament circa 1807. He went on to fight against slavery within the Empire, which was effected the year after his death in 1833. Wilberforce was also instrumental in transforming the manners of the nation into a truly Christian nation in Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery, 2007, by Eric Metaxas. The excellent movie Amazing Grace also came out in 2007.

The British Empire was the greatest empire in world history encompassing 20 to 25% of the earth’s land surface and its population. In Genesis 22:17, after Abraham offered Isaac on the altar, God said his descendants shall possess the gates of their enemies. Great Britain was a maritime empire. At its height it controlled Hong Kong, Singapore, as well as Calcutta, Bombay, and the Khyber Pass in India, plus Cape Town, the Suez Canal, Gibraltar, and Malta, the gates of her enemies. America dug the Panama Canal.  The British also founded Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Unfortunately, after fighting the French Revolutionaries, who sought to dethrone not only their king, but also their God, and Napoleon for close to twenty years ending at Waterloo, in 1815, they succumbed to the vast ages, the millions and billions of years, as put forth in Principles of Geology in 1830 and Darwin’s evolution from The Origin of Species, 1859, i.e., they forgot their God. But America saved them and the world from the ungodly Nazis and then the ungodly Soviet Union. Since the end of World War II, America is following in Great Britain’s footsteps to apostasy.

I believe Christ will return to reign to start the seventh millennium of history. Per 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalm 90:4, a thousand years to the LORD was like a day. I believe we are now approaching the end of the sixth millennium. The land animals were created on the first half of the daylight of the sixth day, and man was created at the end of the sixth day. The Jews believed a day began at sunset, so at dawn, in 1492 AD, Columbus sailed the ocean blue, and the land (Remember Israel represented the land, and the Gentile nations the sea.) animals, those arising from the Bible, of Spain, Portugal, Holland, and France came forth as world powers.  At the end of the sixth millennium, Great Britain came forth followed by America as the Anglo-Saxon nations, who had the blessings of God through Ephraim and Manasseh.

God had said to Abraham, “In Isaac your seed will be called.” Saxon means “son of Sax.” In linguistics over centuries, the first letter of a name is often dropped. Was Saxon originally Isaacson?

The Anglo-Saxon Age has been ongoing at least since 1763, when, at the conclusion of the Seven Years’ War, Great Britain received Canada. France was also forbidden from garrisoning troops in India, which later became the jewel in Britain’s crown. This fits well with Ezekiel’s prophecy in Ezekiel 4:4 in which the prophet was told to lay of his left side for 390 days with each day representing a year of iniquity for the house of Israel, i.e., the northern kingdom which had been destroyed in 722 AD. The northern kingdom of Israel split from Judah about 931 BC. If you subtract 722 from 931, you get 209, so it seems strange to me to lay 390 years of iniquity on them. However, God had told Jeroboam, the first king of northern Israel, that if he followed Him, then He would honor him and build him an enduring house (1 Kings 11:38). At Solomon’s death, Jeroboam rebelled against the House of David and God. Jeroboam did not wish his subjects going to the temple in Jerusalem for worship, so he put up golden calves per 1 Kings 12:28. Jeroboam made priests from tribes other than the Levites per 1 Kings 12:31, and he changed God’s “appointed times,” His feasts, from the seventh to the eighth month per 1 Kings 12:13. The northern kingdom of Israel had only one somewhat good king, whose name was Jehu, whose story is told in 2 Kings 9 & 10. Jehu was anointed by God’s prophet to destroy Jezebel, her foreign gods, who required human sacrifice, and the House of Ahab. Jonathan Cahn wrote a book in 2017- The Paradigm in which he likened Trump to Jehu.

Ancient calendars from Japan, China, India, Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and the Mayan civilization were all 12 months of 30 days each. This is thought to have changed circa 701 BC around the time that the Assyrians took all of Judah’s 46 outlying cities and then they besieged Jerusalem. About this time, Hezekiah, king of Judah, developed a boil and was told by Isaiah that he would die. Hezekiah prayed to the LORD for mercy, and his prayer was answered. He was told he had fifteen more years. Isaiah told him as a sign that the shadow of the sun dial could go forward or backward ten degrees. Hezekiah asked that it go backward ten degrees. It is at this time that the calendar changed to the present 365.2422 days/year from 360 days/year. God says that if His people will not obey Him, He will punish them seven times more for their sins per Leviticus 26:18. 7 X 390 = 2,730 years, but the years were 360 days/year up to 701 BC or 230 years from the founding of the northern kingdom. There are 230 years from 931 BC to 701 BC.  Subtract 230 from 2730 years = 2500 years of 360 days each. 2500 years X 360 days/year = 900,000 days divided by 365.2422 days/year = 2,464.12 years.  Subtract 701 from the last number yields 1763.12, but you must add one for no year zero, i.e., 1 BC is followed by 1 AD. There is no year zero. So if the judgement began circa 931 BC and it was 390 years X 7, then it would end in 1764.1 AD with the Treaty of Paris ending the Seven Years War in February of 1763 BC. It may have taken a few months or years before the seven-fold judgement came on, and Great Britain had great victories over France in 1759 and in India in 1757 at Plassey. It may be even more precise if we knew the month and day Israel and Judah separated, and the month and day that Jeroboam put up the golden calves.

The change in the calendar also led to the crucifixion of Christ in God’s timing. Per Daniel 9:25,26, the Messiah was supposed to come 69 weeks (of years) after the order went out to rebuild the walls of the city of Jerusalem. Per Nehemiah 2:1, this occurred in the month of Nisan in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes, king of Persia. If the day of the month is not given, it is presumed to be the first of the month, in this case, Nisan 1, the start of the Jewish religious calendar per Exodus 12:2. Nisan 1 in 445 BC was 14 March. 69 weeks or 483 years later would be Nisan 1, 39 AD. The Jews were expecting Messiah on this date, but by changing the length of the years, it would be earlier- 483 years X 360 days/year divided by 365.2422 days per year. The date is 6 April, 32 AD, the tenth of Nisan when the lamb was taken from the flock, per Exodus 12:3, in preparation for the Passover meal on 14 Nisan. On 10 Nisan Christ rode the donkey’s colt into Jerusalem and was proclaimed the Messiah per Luke 19:38, only to be crucified days later. It has also been written that the twentieth year of Artaxerxes was actually 444 BC, which changes the numbers a bit, but He was still crucified on Passover, and raised on First Fruits, only a year later in 33 AD. Mark Biltz in Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs (2014) noted there was a total lunar eclipse (a blood moon) on Passover in 32 AD and a partial lunar eclipse in 33 AD. Jewish days go sunset to sunset, so this was on the night Christ was taken from the Mount of Olives to trial. A total lunar eclipse, a blood moon, foretells disaster for Israel; a total solar eclipse, disaster for the Gentiles.

The Jews divide the Psalms into five books.

Psalms 1 to 41 (1901 to 1941) appears to be the prelude to what is to come.  The Jews were returning in greater numbers to the land of Israel, but it is under the control of the Turk. The Arabs are known to be rich in oil.  At the beginning of World War I, Winston Churchill converted the British navy from coal to oil.  Though the British have signed on to giving the Jews a homeland, they did not wish to offend Islam either as Britain has lots of coal, but no oil. The Germans were able to manufacture a smokeless gunpowder, which hid their artillery in World War I. It required acetone, which previously Britain had obtained from Germany. Chaim Weizmann, a Jewish chemist in Britain, who later became the first president of Israel, devised a way to make acetone from horse chestnuts, so the British gunpowder would be smokeless and decrease the enemy’s ability to locate the British artillery on the battlefield. The British were exceedingly happy with this chemist and asked what they could do for him.  He told them to form a Jewish state in the Holy Land. In 1917, the Balfour Declaration noted His Majesty’s government looked with favor on the establishment of a Jewish state in the Holy Land, which at that time was sparsely populated. Originally, Jordan was part of the Jewish homeland, but Winston Churchill gave it to the Arabs in the early 1920s. It was about 78% of the Jewish homeland. The British then failed to allow Jews to return to Israel except for certain quota numbers. Thus, the British assured many European Jews would go to the Nazi ovens.  At the same time, they allowed unlimited immigration from the surrounding Arab nations into Palestine. Still, the Jews returned to Israel in increasing numbers and even formed an army unit under Allied command during World War II. After the Holocaust, the Jews returned in greater numbers. Great Britain (Ephraim) tried to cut the flow of Jewish refugees because of Arab oil.  Britain would shortly lose her empire, likely due to her treatment of the Jews and her acceptance of evolution and the vast ages as established science instead of the Bible’s truth.

Psalm 42 to 72 (1942 – 1972)  In 1942, the Japanese were soundly defeated at Midway in June allowing FDR to have a Germany First policy, i.e., destroy Germany first as she was the more dangerous enemy, and enough Jews must survive the ovens to make Israel a viable nation.  The Nazi tide begin to ebb with fall of North Africa to Britain and America, and Stalingrad to the Soviets in 1943. The gas chambers confirm the idea that Jews will only be safe in a Jewish state.  The world is sympathetic enough because of the horrors of the Holocaust to allow the Jews their own land, and Israel is born.  They are immediately invaded by their neighboring Muslims and to the world’s great surprise through the help of their God, YHWH, they defeat these enemies. Their Arab neighbors kick out the Jews in their own lands, where they have resided for over a millennium, with little more than the clothes on their backs, but these refugees go to Israel and double its population making it far more formidable as an enemy. The Israelis take the Sinai and the Suez Canal with Britain and France in 1956, though later return it to Egypt because of pressure from Washington, but Israel relates they will regard any interference with their shipping through the Straits of Tiran, gateway to the Gulf of Aqaba, would be considered an act of aggression. In 1967, Egypt’s Nasser kicked out the UN police forces between Israel and Egypt in the Sinai. He brings his army to the border and tells the Israelites that soon he will attack. He also closes the Straits of Tiran. The Jews take the initiative and defeat their enemies in the Six-Day War in 1967. They urge Jordan not to attack them, but the Jordanians are listening to the “victories” of the Egyptian Army on the radio. They join the attack and lose Jerusalem and the West Bank. When the Jews were deported during the Babylonian Captivity, the first removal was in 605 BC with the last that included the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 BC, a period of about 19 years. Israel became a nation again in 1948.  They regained Jerusalem in 1967, another interval of about 19 years They also gained the Golan Heights, Gaza and the Sinai Peninsula up to the Suez Canal.  They considered themselves unbeatable (much like modern America) by their military prowess and not by their God for years thereafter.

In 1955, the play Inherit the Wind opened with the movie version made in 1960. Most believed it was an accurate portrayal of the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial instead of a fictionalized version. Joseph Goebbels would have loved it.  Of course, he was the Nazi Minister of Propaganda in World War II. From the trial, came the question of Where did Cain get his wife? No mention of anyone other than Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel was made at the time of Abel’s slaying in the Bible. Genesis 5:4 After he (Adam) begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters. By Jewish tradition, Adam had 33 sons and 23 daughters. However, it is an easy question to answer if you use the book of Jasher, noted in the Bible in Joshua 9:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18. This book is now available. It gives about twice the information of the Bible on the time period beginning with Creation and ending with the conquest of Canaan after the Exodus. In its first chapter, it notes the first couple had two sons and three daughters before Cain slew Abel. Hence, Cain married one of his sisters.  

In America, the Supreme Court of the United States banned both prayer and Bible reading in 1962 and 1963. The Puritans believed the purpose of an education was to allow the individual to read the Bible. 

The Soviet Union puts the first satellite in space, Sputnik in 1957. The American K12 school system was said to be deficient in science, and evolution was pushed thereafter.  Alfred Kinsey published Human Sexuality in the Male circa 1948 and Human Sexuality in the Female circa 1953. The media portrayed him as a professor seeking truth. In actuality, he was a bisexual activist who wanted to change the sexual mores of America. He begat Hugh Hefner and Playboy magazine and the subsequent Sexual Revolution. 

Psalm 73 to 89 (1973 – 1989) The idea of Israeli invincibility is rapidly destroyed in the Yom Kippur War in 1973. The Israelis believed their neighbors had been bloodied enough and would not dare to attack them, but Syria and Egypt did attack with better weaponry than the Israelis possessed. Surprise is total, and only Nixon’s resupply of Israel saves the nation from resorting to the Sampson Option, a nuclear response. Of course, God was the invisible Hand behind it all having prepared Nixon for this as a child listening to His mother, who told him that one day it would be in his power to do something for the Jews, and he must do it. The Democrats warned Nixon not to get the country involved in any foreign wars, as he was in the midst of Watergate. It is my suspicion that this involvement allowed him to quit and not be impeached.

In 1973, the US Supreme Court approved abortion.

Psalm 90 to 106 (1990 – 2006) God saves Israel from Saddam Hussein when he overextends himself in Kuwait. God also allows Israel to seek their salvation as a nation of the world through the world, i.e., the United Nations. Clinton brings the so-called Palestinians to the West Bank (Yasser Arafat, their leader, was an Egyptian, who reputedly died with billions of dollars in Swiss bank accounts. American intelligence knew that Arafat ordered the death of an American ambassador in the Sudan circa 1972, but President Clinton brought him back anyway.)  The Israelis try to solve their problems through the UN and the US. The world’s answer to this problem brings increased terror to Israeli citizens and to the “Palestinians” and the Christians in the Palestinian sphere, e.g., Christian Bethlehem becomes Palestinian. In 1950, Bethlehem was 86% Christian. In 1994, it was the most populous Christian city in the entire Holy Land. By 2017, the Christian population had dwindled to 10% under the Palestinian Authority per Perry Stone’s Prophetic Alert, 2025, 116.   

Psalm 107 to 150 (2007 – 2050) The American financial collapse began in December, 2007.

Now it is time for God to take back the soul, to remake the nation of Israel by bringing home the lost tribes and Jews currently not in Israel, bringing all Israel to faith in YHWH, and destroying Islam. He will also destroy Israel’s self-sufficiency, bring Israel to Christ who will destroy her remaining enemies, most notably the anti-Christ, and begin divine government.   

I had been aware that some of the Psalms were prophetic. The 22nd Psalm, a psalm of David, who took the city of Jerusalem in 1003 BC, was prophetic of Christ on the cross, written when Israel’s common form of capital punishment was stoning and at least 400 years before crucifixion became common. Psalm 22:12 Many bulls have surrounded Me; strong bulls of Bashan have encircled Me. 13 They gape at Me with their mouths, like a raging and roaring lion.  This refers to spirits of the dead Nephilim, evil spirits of the giants (Genesis 6:1-4), who thought they had a great victory over Christ and God, never imagining it would allow God to grant salvation to all who would accept Christ as LORD. And Christ did say in Luke 24:44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”  I was also aware that the Psalm 69 told of Christ’s unhappy childhood, but I cannot tie Psalm 22 with 1922 nor 69 with 1969 though it would not surprise me if this could be done.   

As already noted, I am not enough of an historian to account for the prophecies of each and every year, but some are certainly striking.  Are the prophecies just to the Jews or also to the Christians?  Or perhaps also to the lost tribes of Israel, especially to Joseph, the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, who had extraordinary blessings from God per Genesis 49:22-26, Deuteronomy 33:13-17, and Genesis 22:17?

Psalm 14  ( A Psalm of David)   1914

The fool has said in his heart,

“There is no God.”  (In the Bible, a fool is defined as one who does not believe in God.)

They are corrupt,

They have done abominable works,

There is none who does good.

No, not one.

Europe has ruled the world for the last few centuries through God’s sovereign will. The first national rejection of Christianity within Europe (Christendom) came with the French Revolution in 1789. The 1917 Bolsheviks of the Soviet Union were the inheritors of the French Revolution. After fighting the French and Napoleon for over twenty years, the British were triumphant. They did away with the slave trade in 1807 and slavery in the Empire in 1834, through the efforts of William Wilberforce, who also made great efforts to truly Christianize Great Britain. Wilberforce succeeded, and Great Britain was the great Christian nation to the world and the hyperpower for the 19th century. Not everyone was happy with this. Charles Lyell, a Scots lawyer, published Principles of Geology in 1830, claiming the earth was far older than the Biblical record, based on one layer of sediment equaling one year. It is difficult to get more than ten thousand years of history from Creation out of the Bible. Lyell, one of the fathers of geology, related the Bible must be in error as there were tens of thousands of layers of sediment indicating the earth must be far older than the Biblical account.  Darwin carried a copy of this book with him when he went to the Galapagos Islands in the 1830s. He then published The Origin of Species in 1859. (In the 1990s, the video Experiments in Sedimentation, came out showing that with a current you get multiple layers of sedimentation at one time disproving Lyell’s theory. The Frenchman Guy Berthault went to Colorado State University where they had a state-of-the-art hydraulics lab for his experiments on sedimentation. Fundamental Experiments on Sedimentation by Pierre Julien and Guy Berthault was published by The Geologic Society of France in 1993. Guy Berthault’s experiments were published by the French Academy of Science in 1986, 1988 and Geologic Society of France in 1993.) The multiple layers of sediment were mostly laid down by the Great Flood, which destroyed all humans and land animals, except those in the ark with Noah. An astronomer has also suggested that the speed of light is decreasing, which was absolute heresy when I went to college, but it would explain the distance of millions of light years away from us by the stars. When Adam and Eve sinned, the speed of light began to decrease.

What was Christian Europe has now been immersed in evolution for 55 years. Christianity and evolution are incompatible. Christianity teaches the first death (Genesis 3:21) in God’s perfect world was that of the animal, likely a lamb(s), used to provide Adam and/or Eve with clothing, i.e., there was no death till Adam and Eve sinned. With regard to death, I only include such land animals as those on the ark with Noah and his family, those in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life per Genesis 7:22, not insects, who breathe through tubules in their side.  Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—  Evolution says death is a good thing, “Out of the wars of nature, famine, and disease, the development of higher animals directly follows.” There were millions and billions of deaths on an industrial scale over millions of years before man came forth, according to evolution and “science.” No good God could create such an abomination. However, Scripture teaches the first death in the world of Creation was the animal killed to provide Adam and Eve with skins for clothing. All the animals, including lions, and tigers, ate plants in the original Creation per Genesis 1:29,30. The LORD also predicts the carnivorous creatures will become herbivorous once more in the future Messianic kingdom per Isaiah 11:6-9. The seed planted by Darwin in 1859 has now yielded its poisonous fruit in Europe. Might makes right once more. And now the Great War of 1914 comes with enormous casualties to many of the old Christian nations of Europe, who have forsaken their God who gave them so much, replacing Him with the time and chance of evolution. And like the American college kids today, it all comes with huge debt. According to the internet, a college graduate with a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in a public university has a debt of $27,100 to $28,775 and a Bachelor’s degree from a private university would be $33,800 to $42,449.  A recent study noted on Fox News related 40% of graduating students knew no more than when they entered college, with the average grade given in college an A.

4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge,

Who eat up my people as they eat bread,

And do not call upon the LORD?

There they are in great fear,

For God is with the generation of the righteous.

You shame the counsel of the poor,

But the LORD is his refuge.

It is curious to note that during Christmas of World War I in 1914, many of the troops observed it to include German, French, and British, even in the trenches. Carols were sung. Food was exchanged. The shooting briefly stopped, but quickly resumed after these troops were replaced at the front. The memory of Christianity remained in many places.  Were those who “ate up my people as they eat bread” all the above nationalities?  It certainly included the Turks who massacred one to one and a half million Christian Armenians during the Great War.  

7 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!

Psalm 17 (A Prayer of David)  1917

8.  Keep me as the apple of Your eye;

    Hide me under the shadow of your wings

    From the wicked who oppress me

    From my deadly enemies who surround me.  

During World War I, in 1917, the British general, Edmund Allenby, besieged Jerusalem with his troops.  The night before the attack on Jerusalem, he is reported to have prayed that he might take the city without destroying the holy places.  Wiring London for instructions, he received the reply:  As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending, also He will deliver it (Isaiah 31:5).

In response to this verse, the next day Allenby put up every plane in his command, some 200, to fill the skies in formation. Many of the Turkish defenders had likely never seen a plane, and now the sky was filled with these strange omens in bewildering formations.  A note was dropped from one plane stating Allenby demanded the city’s surrender. By coincidence (Remember the Jewish rabbis say coincidence is not a kosher word.), Allenby translated into Arabic as Allah meaning God, and beh meaning son or prophet.  Hence, the note from the sky stated the Son of God or prophet of God demanded their surrender. A very bad omen indeed. The frightened Turks surrendered the city without firing a single shot.  It is curious to note that the Islamic Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, supposedly occupying the site of Solomon’s temple to YHWH, has sayings on it noting God has no Son.

Allenby arrived on horseback outside the Jaffa Gate, but at some distance from the gate, he dismounted and walked on foot bare-headed towards the city. Allenby recounted on his behavior; “It seemed to me the obvious and natural thing to do. The only alternative to entering on foot by the Jaffa Gate, was to enter on horseback through the enormous hole in the wall surrounding Jerusalem, made specially to permit the German Kaiser to make what he regarded as a triumphant and spectacular entry into Jerusalem” (in 1898). “That was a procedure I naturally shrank from repeating.”  Germany under the Kaiser was a true believer in evolution’s survival of the fittest.  In earlier times, it was explained as “might makes right.”  Now, it is “smarts make might make right.”

Psalm 17 continued

12. As a lion is eager to tear his prey

     And like a young lion lurking in secret places,

     Arise, O LORD,

     Confront him, cast him down;

     Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword.

The symbol of the British Empire was a lion.  This lion was about to take Jerusalem and more territory for the British Empire. The young lion would be America, about to alter the course of the Great War (WW I) when she entered the war in 1917.

Psalm 18 is a psalm of David for deliverance from his enemies, and God responds by destroying David’s enemies. It represents the year 1918, when Germany was defeated in the Great War (World War I). It refers to Christ the Rock in verse 2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer…, verse 31: And who is a rock, except our God? Verse 46 The LORD lives!  Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted. In Exodus 17, the Israelites thirsted, and there was no water. They contended with Moses, and he brought his problem to the LORD, who told him to strike the rock in Horeb (Sinai in Arabia per Galatians 4:25), and water would flow out. In Numbers 20, the lack of water recurred, and again the people contended with Moses. He went before the LORD, and was told to speak to the rock, and water would flow again. However, Moses was angry with the people, and he struck the rock with his rod, and water flowed. However, he had disobeyed God in striking the rock. For this offense, he was not allowed to bring the nation into the promised land. The rock was to have been a model for Christ. On the first time, He was struck. On the second time, His people must say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!” before He will return per Luke 23:39, but Moses destroyed the model in striking the rock the second time.

However, rock or stone as a reference to Christ was used much earlier. Genesis 49:22-26 are blessings and prophecy on Joseph. Verse 24 But his (Joseph’s) bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd [Christ], the Stone of Israel). I suspect the stone here also refers to Jacob’s pillow in Genesis 28:11. In a dream that night, he saw a ladder reaching from heaven down to earth with angels descending and ascending on it. The next morning, he raised that stone up as a pillar and poured oil on it, saying in verse 22 that it should be God’s house.

In Genesis 35, God tells Jacob to return to Bethel where he had the vision of the ladder with angels. In Genesis 35:9-11, God appeared to Jacob again, blessed him, confirms his new name of Israel, which had earlier been given him by the angel he wrestled with before meeting Esau. One source noted Israel meant prince with God; another, he strives with God or God strives. God told him that he would father a nation and a company of nations, meaning Israel and the British Empire, which once included America. God also confirms He will give him the land of Canaan. At this place Jacob set up a pillar of stone, poured a drink offering and then oil on it. I suspect this was the same stone that he had poured oil on in his trip to Syria to find a wife.

The stone from Bethel likely played a prominent part in the history of Israel.  Psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.  This stone must be significant in that verse 22 is repeated in Matthew 21:42, Mark 12:10,11, Acts 4:11, and Luke 20:17 which adds in the next verse: Whoever falls on that stone will be broken, but on whomever it falls, it will grind them to powder. 

I suspect this stone was carried by Jacob’s family into Egypt and then back to Canaan. Likely, it was to be the cornerstone of Solomon’s temple, but because of a crack in it, the builders refused to use it. Still, it was revered by the Israelites. I suspect it was the same pillar that King Jehoash stood by “according to custom,” when he was made king of Judah in 2 Kings 11:14, and in 2 Kings 23:3 Josiah stood by a pillar and made covenant before the LORD, the same pillar.

1 Corinthians 10:4 and all (Israel) drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. The first verse of this chapter related they all passed through the sea. Apparently, this is a reference not only to Christ being with them, but also the actual stone, which they carried with them.  

Ephesians 2:19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the LORD, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Of interest, this same stone was said to have been in Westminster Abby under the seat of the coronation chair for the British Empire at its height. It is of a steely dull-purplish color with some reddish veins. It is about 26 inches in length, 16 inches in width, and 10 ½ inches in depth. It weighs about 336 pounds. There are two metal rings which hang loosely from eyes in metal stakes driven into the stone. There is a groove down the stone from the two rings indicating it had been carried for lengthy periods in the past with friction producing the groove. There was also a crack in the stone. 

The stone was known as the Stone of Destiny, Liafail, and the Stone of Scone, where it lay for centuries. The kings of Scotland had been crowned on it for about 800 years until 1296 AD, when Edward I, the king in the movie Brave Heart, carried it off to London and built a Coronation Chair around it. In 1328, Edward II promised to return the stone to Robert the Bruce, but this was not done. English kings and queens were crowned on it during the years of the British Empire and before and after. Some Scottish students took the stone on Christmas Day in 1950, but, inadvertently, broke it into two pieces along the crack. It was subsequently returned to Westminster Abby and the two pieces were made one with doweling and cement. It was returned to Scotland in 1996 and presently is in Scotland. The Scots promised to return it to London for future coronations, and Charles was coronated on it on 6 May, 2023, as his mother Queen Elizabeth II had been on 2 June, 1953.

The stone had been brought to Scotland from Ireland when the Scots invaded Ireland circa 500 AD. Liafail had been important in the crowning of the kings of Ireland for a thousand years. The brother of the king of Ireland invaded Scotland circa 500 AD and asked his brother to send over the stone to legitimize his new throne. Apparently, the new king of Scotland neglected to send Liafail back, though according to the internet, it is still in Ireland. By tradition, it was brought to Ireland by the prophet Jeremiah circa 580 BC, with his scribe Baruch, David’s harp, and Tea Tephi, one of the royal princesses, who was taken into Egypt after the fall of Jerusalem in 586 BC per Jeremiah 43:6. Tea Tephi married the king of Ireland, Eochaidh, who was a descendant of Zerah, who was the twin son of Judah through Tamar, thus maintaining the eternal throne of David (2 Samuel 7:8-16, Psalm 89:29,35-37) through Ireland, then Scotland, then and now England. Zedekiah, the last king of Judah, was blinded by Nebuchadnezzar, died in Babylon along with his predecessor Jehoiachin. It would seem the throne of David died with them.  However, per Numbers 27:1-8, 36:6-8, a woman could inherit if there were no males in the family, as long as she married a member of the same tribe. Eochaidh and his bride Tea Tephi were both of the tribe of Judah. Their abode was in Tara, the name of Scarlet O’Hara’s plantation in Gone with the Wind.   

God told the prophet in Jeremiah 1:10 “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”  What did the weeping prophet of Judah, predicting destruction for Jerusalem, build and plant? Apparently, Ireland, where the kings of Ireland were crowned on Liafail for a millennium or so.

After the fall of Jerusalem, Jeremiah had told the Jews to stay in Judah, but if they went to Egypt, they would be consumed by sword and famine per Jeremiah 42:22, 44:7,27. Nevertheless, Jeremiah, his scribe, Baruch, and the king’s daughters were all taken to Egypt per Jeremiah 43:5-7. They feared Nebuchadnezzar, who after the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 BC, went on to besiege mainland Tyre, which he captured in 572 BC, but the people of Tyre simply moved to an island offshore, taking their gold, silver, and other valuables with them, so he got little loot for his enormous effort. In Ezekiel 29:17-20, God says that when Nebuchadnezzar besieged Tyre (Ezekiel 26:7-11), he worked for Him. Hence, God would now give him Egypt, loaded with gold and silver. Shortly thereafter, filled with pride and gold, Nebuchadnezzar said, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” per Daniel 4:30. Immediately, the kingdom and his reason were taken from him. However, before this, Nebuchadnezzar brought the prophesied death and destruction on the Jews who fled to Egypt, though the prophecy was delayed for at least 13 years.  Jeremiah, Baruch, and Tea Tephi escaped to Ireland in the meantime. How else was David’s eternal throne maintained?

Further evidence for this scenario is found in Ezekiel 21:25- 27 with reference to King Zedekiah: (God speaking) ‘Now to you, O profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose iniquity shall end. 26 ‘Thus says the LORD God: “Remove the turban and take off the crown; nothing shall remain the same. Exalt the humble, and humble the exalted. 27 Overthrown, overthrown, I will make I overthrown! It shall be no longer, until He comes whose right it is, and I will give it to Him.”’  Hence, the first overthrown will be Judah, then Ireland, then Scotland, leaving the throne in England, till the LORD returns for it.

How did the tribe of Dan get to Ireland? Ancient records reveal the tribe of Dan arrived in Ireland around 1500 BC to be followed several centuries later by Judah headed by the Milesians, descendants of Zerah, meaning seed. Tamar’s story is told in Genesis 38. Judah married a Canaanite woman per Genesis 38:2, but Noah had cursed Canaan in Genesis 9:25. Judah’s first son, Er, married Tamar, but he was evil, and God killed him. It was the custom for a man’s brother to have relations with the deceased male’s wife to raise up seed for his brother. Judah’s second son, Onan, was all for having sex with Tamar, but he did not wish to raise up seed for his dead brother, so “he emitted on the ground” per Genesis 38:9. This displeased the LORD, so He killed Onan. Having children was the social security of the day. Judah promised Tamar that his third son would provide her with a child when he came of age, but this son grew up, and Tamar was not given to him. Judah’s wife died thereafter, and he went up to Timnah for the sheep shearing. Tamar dressed as a prostitute and wore a veil and sat by the side of the road to Timnah. Judah got the urge and asked to come in to her. She asked what she would receive for her favor and was told a young goat from the flock. Then she asked for a pledge of his signet and cord, and his staff which designated him head of the tribe of Judah. He agreed, went in to her, and left. She arose, removed the veil, and put on her garments of widowhood. Judah sent a servant back with a young goat, but the prostitute could not be found. About three months later, Judah was told that his daughter-in-law had played the harlot. Judah demanded that she be brought to him so she could be burned. When she was brought before him, she related she was pregnant by the owner of the cord and signet and staff which she produced. Judah admitted his error in not allowing his third son to marry her. She gave birth to twins, but one stuck his hand out first, and the nurse dutifully tied a scarlet thread around the tiny wrist, as being first borne was very important. However, he pulled his hand back, his brother was delivered first. The first borne was named Perez, meaning breach or breakthrough, and he began the royal line leading to David, and later Christ. The other twin was named Zerah, meaning seed. One of the five equestrian orders of ancient Ireland included the red branch whose heraldic sign included a red hand bound at the wrist by a scarlet thread, which likely dates to Zerah’s descendants.

It appears that Dan was a sea-faring nation early.  The conquest of Canaan began around 1407 BC, and Saul became king around 1050 BC. During the book of Judges, Deborah and Barak defeated Jabin, king of Canaan. After the battle, their victory song complained that Dan stayed on his ships (Judges 5:17). Joshua 19: 46, after the conquest of Canaan, defines Dan’s territory, which includes Joppa, a seaport, the one to which Jonah went in Jonah 1:3.

The Vikings were also great sea-farers. Written Hebrew has no vowels, only consonants with dots and dashed over or under consonants to indicate vowels. The tribe of Dan was written in Hebrew as dn. One author suggested that the pattern of d, then n, could designate the travels of Dan. For example, Denmark was suggested to originally to have meant Dan’s mark. The Danes peopled Norway and Sweden, and subsequently invaded the British Isles several times beginning circa 789 AD to the last invasion in 1066 AD. Many of the Vikings stayed on in England and other parts of Britannia. Could this have been an intermixing of Dan with Ephraim and Manasseh? In Ireland, we have Donegal, Dundee, Dunglow, Londonderry, and Edinburgh in Scotland, and London in England. Dan, in Hebrew, means judge. The word Dunn in the Irish language also means judge.  Also Scandinavia.

The tribes of Dan were in two portions, one bordering the Mediterranean Sea opposite Ephraim and Benjamin, and a second in the northern most part of Israel in the Bashan of East Manasseh per Judges 18 in a city named Dan. Perhaps, the tribe of Dan traveled on land and sea. If also on land, perhaps they named the Don River in Russia and the Danube from southern Germany to the Black Sea.

Psalm 18:43 notes …You have made me the head of the nations. This was the position of David in his time and Great Britain for well over a century at the time of World War I, though Christian America was challenging as was Germany before her defeat. Per Genesis 48:20 Ephraim (Great Britain) would come before Manasseh (America).  Psalm 18:50 Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, to David and his descendants forevermore. Germany was too much for Great Britain and France, so America intervened. In 1603 at the death of Queen Elizabeth, James VI of Scotland became James I of England.  With this, a descendant of Judah through Zerah (seed) per Genesis 38 became king of England, and took the eternal throne of David. Though not a descendant of David, he was a close relative of the tribe of Judah from Zerah (seed) per Genesis 38:30, Ezekiel 17:5, Jeremiah 33:17.

To a closer time for the present reader, let us go to Psalm 91, which the New York Times related was the favorite Psalm of the American military facing chemical and, biologic weapons from Saddam Hussein in 1991 in Desert Storm. Iraq had certainly used chemical weapons on the Iranians and the Kurds only years before with devastating results.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say to the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

And from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover you with His feathers,

And under His wings you will take refuge.

His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,

Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,

And ten thousand at your right hand;

But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look,

And see the reward of the wicked.  (When the Iraqis tried to flee Kuwait on a major highway to Iraq, they were literally shot to pieces by the American Air Force.  It was called the highway of death from all the burned vehicles on it.)

9 Because you have made the LORD who is my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you,

Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,

To keep you in all your ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear you up,

Lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,

The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him.

I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him.

I will be with him in trouble;

I will deliver him and honor him

16 With long life I will satisfy him,

And show him My salvation.

I remember Gen. Colin Powell predicting 20,000 to 30,000 deaths for the Desert Storm campaign on television. Those graves were dug and waiting in Saudi Arabia. Peter Marshall noted the Iraqis awaited us with their chemical and biologic weapons, such as airborne anthrax, perfect for the desert conditions.  The chemical weapons they had used with great success against the Iranians and the Kurds, their own people in the northeast. And the wind at that time of year always blew in the American faces- again perfect conditions for chemical and biologic weapons. Many prayers went up from and for the American army before they began Desert Storm. And one hour before Desert Storm began, the wind, which never changes at that time of the year, changed 180 degrees blowing in the faces of the Iraqis, who though perfectly willing to unleash their dread weapons on the Americans did not wish to have these blown back on themselves. Hence, they chose not to use them. It was called the hundred-hour war, and a half hour after its conclusion, the wind resumed its normal pattern. American combat deaths were 148, or less than 1% of what was predicted. Iraqi combat deaths were estimated at 100,000.  Credit was given to our technological superiority. I consider it a miracle of Biblical proportions, a gift from the God of Israel, the God of the wind, formerly the God Who Made Britain Great, and formerly the God of America until the U.S. Supreme Court, in their infinite wisdom, separated church and state in ’62 and ’63, that is, 1962 and 1963, for the first time in American history. And one day God’s Supreme Court will open, but no best of 9!

It is also interesting to note this Psalm related those with faith in God would trample the cobra and the serpent, representative of Satan. It also notes the lion and the young lion would be trampled.  Saddam Hussein considered himself to be like Nebuchadnezzar, only greater.  In Daniel 7, the prophet, Daniel, is given a vision of 4 beasts. This corresponded to an earlier vision (Daniel 2) of a statue with head of gold and “with feet of clay,” actually iron and clay, that Nebuchadnezzar had seen earlier. The first beast corresponding with the head of gold in Daniel 2, was a winged lion, whose wings were plucked off, which probably refers to Nebuchadnezzar’s loss of mind and eating grass for 7 years. After this, Nebuchadnezzar regained his mind and wrote the 4th chapter of Daniel praising YHWH, the God of Israel. As noted, the lion was the symbol of Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, as was the head of gold.  I suspect the young lion refers to Saddam Hussein of Iraq, Babylon’s imitator, only a country for less than a hundred years. This is young by the standard of many nations. 

Psalm 19  1919

In the opening pages of Modern Times, Paul Johnson writes that the world changed in 1919.  At that time, Einstein’s general theory of relativity was confirmed by measurements taken of a solar eclipse.  And everything became “relative” rather than right or wrong.  In Psalm 19, David writes:

  “1 The heavens declare the glory of God;

   And the firmament (sky) His handiwork.

   2 Day unto day utters speech.

   And night unto night reveals knowledge.

   3 There is no speech nor language

   Where their voice is not heard.

   4 Their line has gone out through all the earth,

   And their words to the end of the world.

Morals became relative.  Alfred Kinsey, entomology professor at Univ. of Indiana, began his studies on human sexuality circa 1940. He begat Hugh Hefner, who published Playboy in Dec, 1953. The birth control pill delivered sexual freedom from God’s laws circa 1960.  The gradual defining of deviancy down has now made laws relative to who breaks them, but God’s laws remain eternal. 

Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament (sky) of the heavens to divide the day from the night, and also let there be signs…”  There are Biblical references to the constellations that make up the Zodiac, such as Job 38:31,32, and Amos 5:8. Well before the Flood, God put His salvation story in the night sky by the Zodiac which was likely altered at the Tower of Babel. The story of the Messiah was written in the stars long before He entered history.  The Zodiac foretold the third 2,000-year period in the history of the world, i.e., the birth of the church to Christ’s return to reign in His millennium. The first approximately 2,008 year period was Creation though the Flood was in 1656 AC (after Creation), on to the birth of Abram. The second approximately 2,000 year period was Israel, beginning with the birth of Abram and ending with the death of John the Baptist (Matthew 11:13 & Luke 16:16) with the third period beginning with the resurrection of Christ and the birth of the church in Acts 2, circa 32 or 33 AD. We are approaching the 2,000^th anniversary of the birth of the church and the resurrection with Daniel’s final week of seven Biblical years of 360 days per year yet to begin.  In the Egyptian sphinx is likely the oldest known Zodiac. It begins with the Virgin (Mary) and ends with the Lion, in this case the lion of Judah, Christ, the Messiah. Now Zodiacs begin with Aries, the ram, probably changed at the Tower of Babel after the Deluge.

Psalm 29   1929

10 The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,

And the LORD sits as King forever.

The LORD will give strength to His people;

The LORD will bless His people with peace.

In 1929, a great flood swept through the world, but it was most intense in America and Germany.  It was the beginning of the Great Depression. At its height, about a quarter of all workers in America were jobless. Some have suggested it was caused by the financial manipulations of the Federal Reserve, i.e., a raising of interest rates. Other causes include Congress putting tariffs on foreign goods, with other nations rapidly responding in kind, thus devastating trade; the raising of the income tax; and asking employers not to reduce wages leading to mass firings. Another cause was the public buying stocks on 10% margin driving the stock market ever higher.

Psalm 34  1934

I remember a speaker on Turner classic movies noting that there were movies in the early 1930s that were very similar to the movies of today. They were characterized by the victory of the smart over the not-so-smart with no thought of God in them. But God had a use for that generation called by Tom Brokaw- the “greatest generation.” They were not to be manipulated by movies.  That was for their children. The Catholic Church threatened to have their adherents cease going to the movies unless they changed. The Hays code was rigidly enforced by the movies beginning July, 1934.

According to the internet, its purpose was to promote morality, respect for law and family values. It was to regulate the moral and social content of films to protect the industry’s reputation and prevent government censorship after public scandals. 

Enforcement of the Hays code was overseen by the Production Code Administration, and films had to receive the seal of approval to be distributed.

Code restrictions: profanity and blasphemy; morality and “lustful kissing;” sexual content including rape and seduction; crime, by ensuring that criminals were not portrayed sympathetically; miscegenation; homosexuality.

General Principles: 1. Films should not lower the “moral standards of those who see it” and the audience’s sympathy should never be with crime or the criminal.

2 Correct standards of life should be presented, subject to the needs of drama and entertainment.

3 Law should not be ridiculed, and sympathy should not be created for its violation.

Crime must be punished and no criminals could be presented as heroes. Depictions of divorce, adultery and casual affairs were forbidden or had to be shown with negative consequences. Clergy and national symbols could not be disrespected.  

In 1948, the Supreme Court disbanded movie theater ownership by the movie studios. In 1952, the Supreme Court overruled its previous decision regarding movies as business, permitting them to be seen as art and giving them first amendment rights. Television, foreign films, controversial directors pushing boundaries, such as Otto Preminger, and intervention from the courts all weakened the Hays Code. The big break in the code from American studios was Billy Wilder’s Some Like It Hot in 1959 with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemon. Over the next decade, the code slowly died. It ended in 1968, when the present code took its place. I find many of those movies made during the Hays Code endearing and wondrous still, and I find movies after the code was abandoned often sadly wanting.

Curiously, the greatest year for film classics is often said to be 1939: Gone With the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Stagecoach, Young Mr. Lincoln, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Goodbye Mr. Chips, Wuthering Heights, Of Mice and Men, Ninotchka, Drums Along the Mohawk, Gunga Din, Beau Geste, The Roaring Twenties, Destry Rides Again, and Dark Victory among them.

1 I waited patiently for the LORD

And He inclined to me

And heard my cry.

2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit.

Out of the miry clay,

And set my feet upon a rock,

And established my steps.

3 He has put a new song in my mouth–

Praise to our God;

Many will see it and fear,

And will trust in the LORD…

In May, 1940, the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) was cut off by the German blitzkrieg across France to the sea. They were doomed, and then inexplicably, Hitler stopped the German Wehrmacht’s (army’s) assault for three days. The BEF dug in using the land’s natural defenses.

The evacuation of the BEF, Operation Dynamo, was begun on the morning of 27 May, 1940 and lasted till the night of June 2/3. The British hoped to evacuate 45,000 troops. Over the approximately seven days of Dunkirk, they retrieved 338,226 soldiers of which 221,504 were British, five times their original estimate. About 5,000 British troops were killed and 70,000 missing or captured. Hence, about three-fourths of the BEF was saved. 

Britain began World War II as one of the best equipped, mechanized armies in the world, but they lost most of their weaponry and equipment with the evacuation.  The vehicle-starved Germans took over many of their 64,000 trucks, tanks, and so forth, though the British destroyed many of their engines before leaving.  

On May 27, 29, and June 1, the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) massively assaulted Dunkirk. 32 of 41 destroyers were sunk or damaged. However, heavy cloud cover prevented air attacks on the other days.  The English Channel, which was normally very stormy, was extraordinarily calm- “like a millpond,” greatly enhancing the evacuation. If I were a British soldier at Dunkirk awaiting a seemingly impossible evacuation, I would have felt like someone removed me from a pit, but that pit was deeper still.

The Nazis completed the conquest of France and turned to Britain. The Wehrmacht (German Army) would quickly destroy the British Army, now so lacking in guns, vehicles, and other equipment, but first they had to cross the English Channel and to do this, the Germans had to destroy the Royal Air Force. The intensification of the air war began on August 5, 1940.  Germany had two and one-half times the aircraft of Britain with the best fighter in the world- the ME109 with a superior rate of climb and speed of dive and vastly superior weaponry. The ME109E3 and E4 had two MGFF machine guns, one in each wing.  Each gun had a thousand rounds giving the pilot 55 seconds of firing time.  They also had two MGFF 20 mm cannons in each wing that fired explosive shells with 60 rounds each. In contrast, the spitfire and the hurricane had eight machine guns that simultaneously fired 1,200 rounds per minute, but they could only fire for a total of 15 seconds while in the fight.

The British hurricanes and spitfires were very straightforward and easy to fly which was important because the British had so many new pilots.  However, a really superb pilot could not get much more out of it than an average pilot. An excellent pilot flying an ME109 could get all sorts of things out of it that a lesser pilot could not. 

The German plan to destroy the Royal Air Force was to bomb the airfields’ runways so planes could neither land nor depart, and to destroy the British radar warning systems, and they were winning. Then one night, a German bomber accidentally bombed London, which Hitler had expressly forbidden. The next night the Royal Air Force bombed Berlin. Herman Goring, head of the Luftwaffe had said you could call him Meyer, a Jewish name, should that ever happen. A furious Hitler abandoned his winning strategy to bomb London, at that point in time one of the largest cities on earth. The people of London suffered, but Germany lost.

The point of the Nazi air attack on the Royal Air Force was to destroy it.  By the end of October, 1940, the Luftwaffe had lost 3,701 aircraft after beginning the summer with 3,578. They had lost more than 75% of their total strength when they gave up the invasion of the island. 

Finally, between nine and fourteen submarines sank 352,407 tons of allied shipping in October 1940. Admiral Donitz had been promised 50 to 100. Had he gotten them, England would have been starved into submission. Thus, the pit of 1940 for Ephraim included Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain between the Luftwaffe and the Royal Air Force, and the U-boat assault on Britain’s ships, her lifeline. Just after Dunkirk in the spring of 1940, when Hitler’s forces had blitzkrieged the French into surrender, over the radio, Churchill addressed the British people.  “The battle of France is over.  The battle of Britain is about to begin.  Upon this battle depends the fate of Christian Civilization.”

I believe God gave the British their empire which, at one time, covered 20 to 25% of the earth’s population and of the earth’s land surface, the greatest of all empires in size, likely related to the prophecies given to Joseph and his sons- Ephraim and Manasseh in Genesis 48 and 49:22 -26 and 22:17, as well as Deuteronomy 33:13 -17. At the beginning of the time of Anglo-Saxon ascendancy, God raised up George Whitefield and the Wesley brothers who were instrumental in the Great Awakening of faith in Britain and America beginning in the mid-1730s. Thereafter, in 1787, He raised up William Wilberforce who led the fight in Parliament to outlaw the slave trade which brought Britain great wealth. He achieved his goal circa 1807 during the Napoleonic wars. Wilberforce also transformed the nation making it a truly Christian nation.  In 1834, Great Britain outlawed slavery within her empire, and, I strongly suspect for doing so, God gave Britain even greater wealth. But decades later, they succumbed to the pseudoscience of evolution.  And later they forgot God, and He forgot them. At Dunkirk, He was calling them back, but they would not go. They won the war with America’s and Russia’s help, but shortly thereafter, they lost their empire “on which the sun never set.” Churchill in the 1930s said that the world had changed. Britain had succumbed to evolution! Curiously, they were fighting foes who were even more ardent believers in evolution, which Britain gave the world through Darwin. And now the US also, but we had Kinsey and Hefner to speed us on our descent.

As a Brit or a European Jew, these words would have comforted me in 1940, considering what was coming. At Dunkirk, and in England, thereafter.

Psalm 41   1941

5 My enemies speak evil of me;

“When will he die and his name (Israel? Jew?) perish?”

6 And if he comes to see me, he speaks lies (The words Arbeit macht frei were on the gates of many Nazi concentration camps.  The words mean work makes free, but it was a lie.  The Nazis had no intention of allowing the Jews to go free.  Though called work camps, they were actually death camps.);

His heart gathers iniquity to itself;

When he goes out, he tells it.

7All who hate me whisper together against me;

Against me they devise my hurt

8 “An evil disease,” they say, “clings to him.

And now that he lies down, he will rise no more.”

The Jews in the Nazi concentration camps? Yet it was the Nazis who perished.

Psalm 42     1942

3 My tears have been my food day and night,

While they continually say to me,

“Where is your God?”…

9  I will say to God my Rock,

“Why have you forgotten me?

Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”

10 As with a breaking of my bones,

My enemies reproach me,

While they say all day long,

“Where is your God?”

I have read the Nazis frequently inquired sneeringly of the Jews the whereabouts of their God in the concentration camps. I have also read that Hitler supposedly was a Christian who grew up a Catholic.  Perhaps he grew up as a Catholic, but later he despised Christianity, viewing it as a bastard offshoot of Judaism. He wished to revert to the old pagan gods of Germany. The Germans who followed him on the promise of a Reich that would last a thousand years should have read Revelation 20:4  And they (the Christians) lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Hitler, one of the little anti-Christs of history, boasted of beginning a thousand-year reign or Reich, but it only lasted about 13 years.  And now Hitler awaits the Great White Throne judgment to follow the true millennium of Christ, the Sabbath following the six thousand years from creation.  From Sheol (Hades inside the earth) to the Great White Throne to the lake of fire is not much of a travel scenario!

It has also been reported that Muslims talk about the Christian terrorist Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber.  One should be aware that McVeigh said: “Science is my religion.”  It seems unlikely that McVeigh was a Christian.  More smoke and mirrors- just like Hitler was a Christian.  For me, I am content with the Lawmaker God, the One Who made the laws of science and Christian morality.

On Jan. 20, 1942, Reinhard Heydrich at Waansee, a suburb of Berlin, put forth the final solution designed to kill all eleven million Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe. Six million perished. 

Psalm 43       1943

1 Vindicate me, O God,

And plead my case against an ungodly nation  (Nazi Germany);

Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man (Adolph Hitler, an anti-Christ of his age; Stalin, another)

2 For you are the God of my strength;

Why do you cast me off?

Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!

Let them lead me;

Let them bring me to Your holy hill

And to Your tabernacle.

4 Then I will go to the altar of God,

To God my exceeding joy;

Psalm 45  A Song of Love

1 My heart is overflowing with a good theme;

I recite my composition concerning the King;

My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

2 You are fairer than the sons of men;

Grace is poured upon Your lips;

Therefore God has blessed You forever.

3 Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One,

With Your glory and Your majesty.

4 And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness;

And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things.

5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies:

The people fall under You.

6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;

A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;

Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You

With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia,

Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad

9 Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women;

At your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

Obviously, the male above is the Messiah. Churchill had said the war was over Christian civilization, and Christ had won World War II. Sadly, the victors rapidly forgot Christ, replaced by the vast ages and evolution.

Psalm 48   1948

1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised

In the city of our God,

In His holy mountain.

2 Beautiful in elevation,

The joy of the whole earth,

Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north,

The city of the great King,

3 God is in her palaces;

He is known as her refuge.

4 For behold the kings assembled,

They passed by together.

5 They saw it and marveled;

They were troubled, they hastened away.

6 Fear took hold of them there,

And pains, as of a woman in birth pangs (Israel is reborn in one day in this year -Isaiah 66:8) 

7 As when You break the ships of Tarshish

With an east wind. 

Some believe that Great Britain was the Tarshish of the Bible. Generally, it is felt to be Tartessos in southern Spain just outside the Gates of Hercules on the Atlantic Ocean. 2 Chronicles 9:21 For the king’s (Solomon’s) ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram.  Once every three years the merchant ships came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and monkeys. Tin was not mentioned, but it is in the next verse cited. Ezekiel 27:12 Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods.  They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods.    It was a three-year trip for the voyage from Phoenicia to Tarshish.  I saw a recent television show, perhaps National Geographic, in which they stated they had found large copper mines in Edom, operated during the time of King Solomon, who controlled Edom at that time. They speculated that a good part of his wealth could have come from bronze, the mixture of tin and copper. Cornwell in southern England has been noted for tin production for four thousand years, according to the internet. Solomon’s temple was filled with bronze items that the Babylonians carried away in 586 BC (2 Kings 25:13-17).  Hence, the ships of Tarshish brought tin for bronze to Solomon. There is an interesting verse on the Russo-Islamic invasion of Israel spoken by God in Ezekiel 38:13 “Sheba (Yemen), Dedan (Arabia), and the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”   A lion was the symbol of Great Britain. The young lions would include Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and America. Tarshish and her young lions, including America, seem powerless before the onslaught of Russia and the remainder of Islam. Great Britain as Tarshish was in control of Palestine before Israel was reborn. Britain was opposed in Palestine not only by the Jews but also by the Arabs. Britain lost her maritime empire in the late 1940s, and 1950s. A sentinel event was the loss of the jewel in the crown, India, on 15 Aug, 1947 with the rest of the empire to follow thereafter.  I believe Britain’s failure to allow the Jews of Europe an escape to Palestine in the late 1930s and thereafter, led to the demise of her empire. Of course, at the bottom of this was the theory of evolution and the vast ages which is incompatible with Christianity. Britain tried to ingratiate herself with the oil rich Muslims. I believe the Bible refers to the Muslims, who are Arabs, as Edom or Esau or Mt. Seir.  Edom (the land of Esau and the perpetual enemy of Israel and the Jews) was to the east of Palestine in southern Jordan, hence, the east wind noted in the last line above.

Isaiah 60:9 Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me; and the ships of Tarshish will come first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you.     Why do the ships of Tarshish come first? To bring the lost tribes of Joseph back to Israel.

1948- God returns to Israel and Jerusalem, and His people with Him. The nation of Israel is established once more after almost two thousand years. The kings marveled, i.e., the nations of the U.N. are astonished. Israel is reborn in a day at midnight on May 14- 15, 1948, per Isaiah 66:8.  However, the Jews controlled only a portion of Jerusalem. 

Per J.R. Church (Prophecy in the News), “the generation following” is more precisely translated as “the last generation.”  Psalm 90:10 notes the average life of a man is 70, but by virtue of strength, he may make it to 80. Is 80 the maximum number for a generation according to the Bible?  Apparently not. The average life span of a citizen of Israel is 83.77 years of age in 2025 according to the internet, but Jews (about 70% of the population) live a few years longer.     

Psalm 67         1967

1 God be merciful to us and bless us,

And cause His face to shine upon us.

2That Your way may be known on earth,

Your salvation among all nations.

3 Let the peoples praise You, O God;

Let all the peoples praise You.

4 Oh let the nations be glad and sing for joy!

For You shall judge the people righteously,

And govern the nations on earth.

Let all the peoples praise You. 

6 Then the earth shall yield her increase; 

God, our own God, shall bless us.

7 God shall bless us,

And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.

In 1967, the Arabs conspired to attack Israel massing their armies on Israel’s borders. Instead, Israel struck first utterly destroying their enemies in the Six Day War and taking all of Jerusalem plus the Golan Heights, Gaza, the West Bank, and the Sinai.  Six is the number for man, not quite complete like the number seven. Hence, the war with Islam would continue. “And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.”

J.R. Church in his Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms notes that before the Six Day War, Jerusalem was divided. “King Hussein had planned to build an Arab luxury hotel along the site of the Western Wall (also called the Wailing Wall) which would forever close its access to Jewish prayers. To do so, however, he would have to permanently close the Morgrabi gate. Since there are too few gates into the Moslem mosque area anyway, he decided to open the Eastern Gate- in defiance, I might add, of Ezekiel’s prophecy that the gate must remain shut (Ezekiel 44:2). A crane had been set up outside the gate and air hammers had been laid inside the gate. Work was to commence on June 7, but the Israeli move into Jerusalem on June 6 preempted Hussein’s plans. The gate remained shut.” And Jerusalem was no longer divided, but one city under Israel. The day after the Six Day War was over, Israel gave the Temple Mount back to Islam. I doubt YHWH would be very happy about this especially as He was the Author of their victory. I do not believe the Temple Mount was the location of Solomon’s temple, but the Jews believed it was. I believe this act may be the one for which Judah (present day Israel) was judged for 40 years in Ezekiel 4:6. Israel has not done very well in their wars since 1967. The Lebanese war of 2006 was the first time an Arab armed force was not defeated by Israel. For the first time Israel was not victorious over her foes. The Arabs believe an Arab stalemate could give way to an Arab victory.  If Ezekiel’s 40 Biblical years (One biblical year = 360 days.) of judgment ended in November of 2006 just after the Lebanese war was over, it will be interesting to see how Israel fares in the future, i.e., from the end of 2006 on. 

Psalm 73     1973

1 Truly God is good to Israel,

To such as are pure in heart.

2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled;

My steps had nearly slipped.

3 For I was envious of the boastful,

When I saw the prosperity of the wicked…

In the fall of 1973, the Arabs attacked Israel during its holiest day of the calendar year, the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. During Yom Kippur, Israel shuts down with no television and no radio and high attendance at the local synagogues. The faithful Jews also fast. The Arabs wished to destroy the Jews before they could deploy. It was a lightning advance with tanks. Initially, it achieved great success with the Israelis reeling. For some unknown reason the Syrian tank commanders halted the successful advance giving the Israeli army time to form and defend. Losses in material were staggering. .According to the DVD, Against All Odds, on Disc 3, Golda Meir called Richard Nixon at 3 AM Washington time, imploring him for weaponry without which the Jewish state was lost. Nixon, who many Jews felt to be an anti-Semite, said he could hear his mother teaching him the Bible. One day, when he was a child, his mother told him that he would have a chance to do something for the Jews, and he must not refuse. He clearly remembered this, and he suddenly realized why he had been made president. Henry Kissinger, a Jew, had said, “Let them bleed a little!” to Israel’s request for aid sending them three C5As, enormous transport planes, each of which could carry a tank. Nixon overruled him and sent all 25 C5As and everything Golda Meir requested with the result that the Israeli armies were outside Damascus and Cairo when the truce was called.  (Israel: A Nation Is Born, 5th DVD of 5 disc set from Jeremiah Films 2005). Another great victory for Israel though America got an oil embargo from OPEC. Israel had considered the Sampson option during the war- nuclear weapons, but the America resupply made that unnecessary.

But their strength is firm.

In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court in their infinite wisdom chose to introduce legal abortion into America, doing away with established law since America’s inception. Can anything be more violent than the ripping of the unborn from the womb? Will it not transform a nation?  Unfortunately, for those Supreme Court justices who voted for abortion, the Supreme Court of heaven has yet to open though I suspect they already know its verdict. Living in Sheol tends to make one very aware of such things as was its inhabitant in Christ’s parable in Luke 16:19-31 of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man indulged himself while the justices perverted a nation. The same could be said of Kinsey in the 1940s, and Hefner in the 1950s. In the 1940s, if one sent pornography through the mail, he did hard time in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. And then the court legalized it. 

In June 1974 (Note: JR Church related that sometimes the psalm in question was off a bit, a year late, or a year early. I wonder if the above verses do not also encompass the following.), President Nixon and Henry Kissinger initiated the petrodollar accord. By this Saudi Arabia agreed to sell oil only in the US dollar, and they would try to get OPEC to do the same. The US agreed to protect the Saudi state.  Since there would be a lot of $, the Saudis agreed to purchase US govt. debt. We would then loan $ to the world, who would then purchase more oil from the Saudis. It was suggested that if the Saudis did not agree to this, the US might invade them and take the oil.  Because of this, the US dollar became the king of currencies since you had to have it to buy oil. Much of American prosperity for the last 50 years derived from this deal. American politicians believed that deficit spending could go on forever. Most central banks had their reserves in US dollars, but then President Biden took Russian dollar investments and gave them to Ukraine for their war with Russia. Other nations realized that succeeding presidents might do the same with their investments. Because of this and the huge US national debt and annual deficits, foreign central banks began selling dollars and instead purchasing gold for their reserves.

The petrodollar agreement also gave the Saudis huge amounts of money to promote Islam, which they did. See Psalm 83.

Ronald Reagan died in June, 2004. He was our 40th president, and to me one of the three greatest along with Washington and Lincoln. He was elected in 1980. There had been several failed presidencies before him. LBJ gave us guns and butter. He also opened the Social Security lockbox because of the high annual deficits due to the Viet Nam war and his Great Society social programs. He further broke the family, by requiring a father not be in the home for welfare in his Great Society. Nixon gave us Watergate and took us off the gold standard. Ford could not whip inflation now. Carter gave up the Shah of Iran setting up radical Islam for the past 46 years. He seemed powerless to get the American prisoners back from the Iranians. He also gave away the Panama Canal and gave us stagflation with increasing unemployment and double-digit interest rates around 19 to 20%, something not seen in America for decades. He allowed the Mariel boatlift from Cuba.in October of 1980 of about 125,000 persons. Castro emptied his prisons and mental institutions to send to the US. Reagan threatened war with Cuba should Castro do it again. Carter also founded the Department of Education within the U.S. government. The June, 2007 Reader’s Digest had an article by Maria Bartiromo on page 82 noting that the American K12 educational system has fallen from #1 in the world thirty years ago to presently # 19. The Department of Education was founded during Carter’s term about 47 years ago. It sure has worked well. Finally, Carter gave Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, to the communist thug and tyrant, Mugabe. Under Carter, America was down, but the American Hezekiah was soon to come forth and bring us back for a time.

Psalm 80       1980       A Prayer for Israel’s Restoration

1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,

You Who lead Joseph like a flock:

You Who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth!

2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh,

Stir up Your strength,

And come and save us. 

I believe Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, are the Saxons and Angles, who brought forth Great Britain and her colonies, and America.  It is interesting that this psalm opens noting these 2 tribes (plus Benjamin?). Ronald Reagan was elected in 1980 to lead the U.S. (Manasseh). It is also interesting to note that historically the Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher, led Britain (Ephraim) at the same time since 1979, rescuing the United Kingdom from the socialists and their gods (themselves). Benjamin was the one tribe that remained with Judah after the northern tribes of Israel left, following the death of Solomon per 1 Kings 12:21. Likely, they are now regarded as Jews. It was recently reported that 80% of all Jews now live in Israel and America with Israel being the address of just over half of the world’s Jews.  I suspect that in 1980 more Jews lived in America than anywhere else in the world. They were likely suffering with the rest of the Americans.

However, the Jews remain the royal tribe of Israel from whom came king David and Christ.)

Moab and the Hagrites;  (NOTE: The lands of Moab, Ammon, and Edom are modern Jordan.  Some authorities note the Hagrites refers to the descendants of Hagar, Abraham’s Egyptian maid, i.e., Egypt, or perhaps her son Ishmael’s offspring, the Arabs of Saudi Arabia. I favor Egypt.)

Could this have been the start of a much broader conspiracy, only the tip of an iceberg?

Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,  (NOTE: In Judges 7, Gideon raises an army of 32,000 to go against an army of 135,000, but God then culls Gideon’s army to 10,000 and then to 300 who defeat Israel’s enemies, odds of 450 to 1.  In Judges 8:21 Gideon called the tribes of Manasseh, Naphtali, and Asher and defeated the Midianites who had oppressed Israel for seven years. He then called out the tribe of Ephraim who captured and slew that Midian’s princes, Oreb and Zeeb in Judges 7:25. Gideon maintained the attack on the Midianites, capturing her two kings, Zebah and Zalmunna, and executing them in Judges 8.  Gideon took the crescent ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.  A crescent shaped ornament would resemble the new or crescent moon, symbol of Islam.  I believe this is a model of what God will do to Islam in the near future)

NOTE:  It is curious to note that the entire world, including the US (at least until President Trump took office), wishes to annul the Abrahamic covenant of Genesis 12:7, though the LORD gave Islam the entire Middle East save Israel.  He also gave them North Africa and Iran plus part of India and Indonesia, some of which were blessed with great deposits of oil.  On about May 16, 2012, USA TODAY noted that the Muslim population of America had increased to 2.6 million persons.  NewsMax magazine in Feb, 2016, noted since 2012, Obama had brought 102,000 Syrian Muslims into America and given an additional 680,000 Muslims green cards to be in America. According to the internet today, there are 4.5 million Muslims in the US today. However, it should be kept in mind that during Biden’s presidency 10 to 20 million illegal immigrants were allowed into the country. An additional 1.7 million persons came in who did not go to the Border Patrol who would have given them money, hotel rooms, airplane tickets to wherever they wanted to go, etc. I suspect these two million wish to harm America, and are likely Muslims and/or Chinese. I doubt we have any idea as to how many Muslims are presently in the country. This would include 80,000 Somalis in Minnesota who have recently been reported to have fraudulently taken at least $9 billion (Trump said on tv on 25 Jan, 2026 $19 billion) dollars from the government since 2013 according to news reports. There are also concentrations of Somalis in Maine, and a lesser number of 30,000 in Indiana. Some have suggested over television that all three groups are fleecing the US Treasury in similar schemes. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar from Somalia is worth $30 million, though her worth was minimal when she entered Congress. I heard she recently recanted on the worth of $30 million, and now relates she is worth far less. How was this obtained? Keith Ellison, a black Muslim, is the attorney general of Minnesota. When he was a US Congressman, he took his oath of office not on the Bible, but on the Koran of Thomas Jefferson. He said that Jefferson was open minded enough to have a Koran. However, Jefferson bought a Koran because he wanted to know the enemy as he had dispatched the US Navy to deal with the Barbary Pirates during his presidency. Zoran Mamdani, a Shia Muslim, has recently taken office in New York City as mayor. His father is a Columbia University Professor who is involved with Students for Justice in Palestine. One of the mayor’s appointees, a white woman, has said whites should expect to bear more of the city’s burden.

Hosea 5:7 referring to the northern tribes of Israel, particularly Ephraim and Manasseh (Britain and America), a new moon shall devour his heritage.  Originally, it likely referred to Sin, an Assyrian god. Assyria carried away the lost tribes of Israel in 722 BC, but it is likely a double prophecy also referring to modern times. A New Moon or crescent moon is also the symbol of Islam. 

13 O my God make them like the whirling dust,

Like the chaff before the wind! 

14 As the fire burns the woods,

And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

15 So pursue them with Your tempest,

And frighten them with Your storm.

Whose name alone is the LORD, (NOTE: LORD is the English translation for YHWH, the unpronounceable name of the God of Israel Whose name is not Allah)

Are the Most High over all the earth.

It is interesting to note that I cannot put anything that occurred in 1983 other than the bombing of the Marine Barracks by the Hezbollah. However, according to a 2025 Washington Times article, $14.6 billion dollars have been given to US colleges and universities since 1981 by Islamic countries. This includes $6.6 billion from Qatar where the US has a military base on the Persian Gulf, but Qatar is also noted for funding Hamas a terrorist organization; $4 billion from Saudi Arabia, $1.01 billion to Texas A&M, $971 million to Georgetown, $263 million to the University of California. Last year alone Arab donations exceeded $1.5 billion. Yet $10.7 billion lacks any explanation of purpose. 

I recall reading over a decade ago a newspaper story that related that an Arab prince went to Duke University and gave them somewhere between $5 and 20 million dollars because they were such an excellent university. However, the prince also noted they did not have an Islamic Department, and he related he would bring in Islamic scholars that his nation would pay for and guarantee 30 students a year, which over 4 years would go to 120 students to study in the Islamic Department. They would pay out of state tuition for all these students. The article stated that this was happening in universities all over the US.

The article suggested the Muslim students would have significant funding and they would drive new automobiles to wine and dine the local coeds. If an Islamic married an American coed, then they could bring their families over from the Islamic states. The suggestion was that this was a way of injecting Islam into the mainstream of America. 

As one Arab, now apparently a new American, said on tiktok, “You let us in, and we breed.”

How Were the Universities Lost

  After Oct.7, the public was shocked at what they saw and heard on U.S. campuses. 

  Americans knew previously that they were intolerant, left wing, and increasingly nonmeritocratic.

But immediately after Oct. 7- and even before the response of the Israeli Defense forces- the sheer student delight on the news of the mass murdering of Israeli victims seemed akin more to 1930s Germany than contemporary America.

  Indeed, not a day goes by when a university professor or student group hasn’t spouted anti-Semitic hatred. Often, they threaten and attack Jewish students, or engage in mass demonstrations calling for the extinction of Israel.

  Why and how did purportedly enlightened universities become incubators of such primordial hatred?

After the George Floyd riots in 2020, reparative admission- the effort to admit diverse students beyond their numbers in the general population- increased. 

  Elite universities such as Stanford and Yale boasted their so-called white incoming student numbers had plunged to between 20 and 40%, despite whites making up 68 per cent to 70 percent of the general population. 

  The abolition of the SAT requirement, and often the comparative ranking of high school grade point averages, have ended the ancient and time-proven idea of meritocracy.  Brilliant high school transcripts and test scores no longer warrant admissions to so-called elite schools.

One result was that the number of Jews has nosedived from 20 percent to 30 percent of Ivy League student bodies during the 1970s and 1980s to 10 percent to 15 percent.

  Jewish students are also currently stereotyped as “white” and “privileged”- and thus considered fair game on campus.

  At the same time the number of foreign students, especially from the oil-rich Middle East has soared on campuses.  Most are subsidized by their homeland governments.  They pay the full, nondiscounted tuition rates to cash-hungry universities. 

  Huge numbers of students who wouldn’t have been admitted by the very standards that universities until recently claimed were vital to ensure their own competitiveness and prestige have entered universities. 

  Consequently, they’re no longer the guarantors of top-flight undergraduates and professionals from their graduate programs. 

  Faculty are faced with new lose/lose/lose choices of either diminishing their course requirements, or inflating their grades, or facing charges by diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) commissars of systematic bias in their grading- or all three combined. 

  The net result is that there are now thousands of students from abroad, especially from the Middle East, far fewer Jewish students, and student bodies who demand radical changes in faculty standards and coursework to accommodate their unease with past standards of expected student achievement.  And, presto, an epidemic of anti-Semitism naturally followed. 

  In such a vacuum, advocacy- “studies” classes proliferated, along with faculty to teach them.

“Gender, black, Latino, feminist, Asian, queer, trans, peace, environmental, and green” -studies courses demand far less from students, and arbitrarily select some as “oppressed” and others as “oppressors.”  The former “victims” are then given a blank check to engage in racist and anti-Semitic behavior without consequences.

  Proving to be politically correct in these deductive gut-courses rather than pressed to express oneself coherently, inductively, and analytically from a repertoire of fact-based knowledge explains why the public witnesses faculty and students who are simultaneously both arrogant and ignorant.

  At some universities, “blacklists” circulate warning “marginalized” students about professors whom they should avoid who still cling to supposedly outdated standards regarding exam-taking, deadlines, and absences. 

  All these radical changes explain the current spectacle of angry students citing grievances, and poorly educated graduates who have little coursework in traditional history, literature, philosophy, logic, or the traditional sciences.

  Universities and students have plenty to continue the weaponization of the university, given their enormous tax-free endowment income. Nearly $2 trillion in government-subsidized student loans are issued without accountability or reasonable demands that they be repaid in a timely fashion. 

Exceptions and exemptions are the bible of terrified and careerist administrators. 

  Faced with an epidemic of anti-Semitism, university administrators now claim that they can do little to curb the hatred. But, privately, they know that should the targets of similar hatred be instead blacks, gays, Latinos, or women, then they would expel the haters in a nanosecond.

  What’s the ultimate result of once elite campuses giving 70 percent to 80 percent of their students As, becoming hotbeds of dangerous anti-Semitism, and watered-down curricula that can’t turn out educated students?

  The Ivy League and their kindred so-called elite campuses may soon go the way of Disney and Bud Light. They think that such a crash in their reputations is impossible given centuries of accustomed stature. But the erosion is already occurring- and accelerating.

  At the present rate, a Stanford law degree, a Harvard political science major, or a Yale social science Bachelor of Arts will soon scare off employers and the general public at large.

  These certificates will signify not proof of humility, knowledge, and decency, but rather undeserved self-importance, vacuousness, and fanaticism- and all to be avoided rather than courted.    

Perhaps the above explains why we saw so many anti-Israel protestors in America after Gaza’s attack on Israel on Oct 7, 2023. Alexander Fraser Tytler (1747-1813) was a Scottish historian, judge, and professor. He wrote of the predictable cycle of societal decline from virtue to decay. From bondage, you went to spiritual faith, then to courage, then to liberty, then to abundance, then to selfishness, then to complacency, then to apathy, then back to dependence. I wonder where America is on that cycle.  I suspect many Americans would say, “I don’t know, and I don’t care!”

Back to Islam: I saw in the news where a recent poll said 49% of Americans believe Jews, Christians, and Islamics all worship the same god. Jews and Christians worship the same God, but not Muslims, who will tell you there are many peaceful verses in the Koran, which is true, but you must know a little of the history of Mohammed. Mohammed started out in Mecca as a man of peace, but the people of Mecca forced him to leave. He then went to Medina, which was ruled by three Jewish groups who made their living from date groves. Initially, he and his followers worshiped facing Jerusalem to try to get the Jews to join his new religion. The Jews took him in but rejected his religion. Now, Muslims pray towards Mecca. He expelled one of the three Jewish groups, and took over their date groves. Then, he expelled the second Jewish group, taking over their date groves. Finally, he commanded unconditional surrender of the remaining Jews. They were tied up and beheaded. Their wives and children were parceled out as slaves to Mohammed and his followers. Subsequently, Mohammed returned to Mecca as a conqueror. 

As already noted, there are many peaceful verses in the Koran, but this was early in Mohammed’s career. There are many verses of war that contradict the peaceful verses. The holy men of Islam say that whatever Mohammed said last is what is important. One of his last verses (Sura 9:5, the verse of the sword) spoke of slaying the infidel (nonbeliever in Allah and his prophet) wherever you found them, which is clearly a verse of war. The verses or Suras of the Koran are not arranged chronologically, so only an Islamic scholar would know what was said last. The verse of the sword is said to cancel no fewer than 124 more peaceful and tolerant verses in the Koran.

Perhaps the best way to explain Islam are the words of an Ambassador from Tripoli (in modern Libya) to Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson in 1784, but first some background. The Barbary Pirates had been attacking European and American shipping since the 1600s, making slaves of the ship’s crews. Over a million white Europeans and some Americans were enslaved by them from the 1600s to their demise circa 1814. Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson believed Islam and Christian Europe had been fighting each other for many centuries, but we had caused Islam no harm. They inquired of the Ambassador from Tripoli as to the reason for their attacks on our shipping. He replied: that it was founded on the laws of their Prophet [Muhammad]- that it was written in the Koran that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners; that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners; and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise. Islam has bloody borders.

During the last year of George Washington’s presidency, 16% of the entire federal budget was paid in tribute to the Barbary states of Tripoli, Algiers, Morocco, and Tunis. By the end of John Adams’ term, the payments had risen to 20% of the federal budget. This was paid out as tribute to avoid attacks, or to ransom our sailors back. Jefferson sent the US Navy to end this extortion and Tripoli signed a treaty on American terms in 1805. The opening line of the Marine’s Hymn, “From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli” came from this period. One of the names for US Marines also was derived from this period- “leathernecks,” as the marines had high leather collars to protect their necks from the slashes of Muslim swords. When the War of 1812 came along, the Barbary Pirates renewed their attacks, and after the War of 1812 was over, the US Navy returned to North Africa

Recently, a 400 acre Muslim development was in the works 40 miles north of Dallas. It would include 1,000 homes, a mosque, a K-12 faith-based school, sports facilities, a community college, senior housing, an outreach center, and businesses. There was a grassroots backlash over the project. In June, 2026, the governor and attorney general of Texas looked into this project, and it was subsequently cancelled. The foreign-born population of the United States is currently about 16%- the highest percentage in history, according to the Census Bureau’s January 2025 Current Populations Survey. The last time it was this high was in 1890, when immigrants mainly from Eastern Europe pushed the foreign-born population to 14.8%. And don’t forget that Joe Biden brought in ten to twenty million immigrants during his tenure from 2021 to 2024.

Michigan Mayor tells Christian: “Not Welcome in this City

  During a September city council meeting in Dearborn, Michigan, Mayor Abdullah Hammoud told a local Christian resident that he was not welcome in the city.

  At the meeting, the man introduced himself as “Ted Barham, Dearborn resident,” and objected to new streets being renamed for Osama Sibliani, publisher of The Arab American News. “He’s a promoter of Hezbollah and Hamas,” Barham noted. “[Sibliani] talks about how the blood of the martyrs irrigates the land of Palestine… Whether we are in Michigan [or]whether we are in Jenin. Believe me, everyone should fight within his means. They will fight with stones, others will fight with guns, others fight with planes, drones, and rockets.”

  Barham compared the signs to naming a road “Hezbollah Street or Hamas Street,” adding that the move was “provocative.” He added that as a Christian, he wanted to encourage peace.  Then Barham quoted Jesus: “Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matt. 5:9).

  Council members interjected, warning Barham against “personal attacks” and stating that the city had no control over the county’s decision.  One added, “The sign that was placed on Warren Avenue, which is a county road, and that was done by the Wayne County Executive.” Barham, however, maintained that it mattered to Dearborn residents because the signs stood in their city.

  Hammoud, a Muslim, then said to Barham; “The best suggestion I have for you is to not drive on Warren Avenue or to close your eyes while you’re doing it.  His name is up there, and I spoke at a ceremony celebrating it because he’s done a lot for this community.”

  After calling Barham a bigot, a racist, and an Islamophobe, Hammoud added: “Although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here.  And the day you move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out of the city.”                                                        

Dearborn, Michigan, is a well-known Muslim enclave in the U.S.

  If we wish to look at where America is going, it is instructive to look at the United Kingdom.

From the internet: As of the 2021 census, Muslims make up 6.5% (3.9 million) of the United Kingdom’s population, a significant rise from 4.9% in 2011. The growth is partly due to younger demographics and increased migration with London having the highest concentration at around 15% of the city’s population. London’s mayor is a Muslim, and some reports say London now has a Muslim majority. 

  March 26, 2025- The English govt just appointed a new head of Ofsted, the body that inspects public schools. His name is Hamid Patel, and he is a mufti (an Islamic legal scholar), and they say Islamization does not exist. He was headmaster of a school in Blackpool, the first in the country to ask pupils to wear the hijab outside school, and to recite the Koran at least once a week, and to not carry stationary containing nonIslamic images. He also invited a Saudi man to speak badly of the Jews, which never hurts.

  An Islamist now heads the Ofsted, the UK’s leading education body. I doubt he will say much good about the British Empire.

  In my opinion, the British Empire, which ended the slave trade circa 1807, and then slavery within the British Empire in 1834 was a glorious success. This was done because of William Wilberforce, a member of Parliament, who felt slavery should not occur in Christian states. The British Empire was the shining star for Christianity in the 19^th century, until they began to believe in the vast ages, the millions and billions of years, and evolution, which led to their decline. The British Empire led the fight to remove slavery from Western Civilization. They also removed suttee from India. This was the custom of burning the living wife with her deceased husband as a sign of her respect, though their children were made orphans. I wonder if an Islamist will teach this. Probably not, but he will teach how horribly treated the Muslims were. Slavery had been an integral part of Islam since its founding in the early 600s AD, and probably it still is. On about 23 June, 2026, it was noted on the tv news that 250,000 poor, white English girls down to age 13 had been sexually assaulted and trafficked by Pakistani grooming gangs.

Sharia, or Muslim law courts, are now growing in England, though just for Muslims. Under Sharia, only Muslims have standing in the law courts in Muslim lands. To live in a Muslim majority country, a nonMuslim had to pay the jizya, a special tax not required of Muslims. Talk about taxation without representation, and Mohammed is now the most popular name among newborns in the United Kingdom.

In about 701 BC, Jerusalem was besieged by the Assyrians, who had taken all 46 cities surrounding the city which King Hezekiah, king of Judah ruled. They boasted in 2 Kings 18:27 that unless the Jews surrendered, they would drink their own urine and eat their own dung. Hezekiah prayed to the God of the Bible, and an angel of the LORD slew 185,000 Assyrian warriors outside the gates of Jerusalem, and the king of Assyria decided it was time to leave. About this time, in 2 Kings 20, Hezekiah became sick from a boil. He prayed to God for healing, and Isaiah told him to put a lump of figs on the boil, and he would be healed. Isaiah asked if Hezekiah would like the shadow of the sundial to go backward or forward ten degrees. In verse 10, Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow of the dial to go down ten degrees.; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.” We now believe this is when the calendar changed from twelve months of thirty days each, or 360 days per year to the present 365.2422 days per year. Because Hezekiah had been given fifteen more years of life, he arranged fifteen psalms in the book of Psalms, mostly from David. They begin with Psalm 120 and end with 134. They are said to be patterned after the Torah, reiterating page 1 of this paper:

JR Church related that king Hezekiah fifteen psalms (120- 134), also called the Psalms of Ascent or Psalms of Degrees in the following manner as groups of three. The first psalm was a cry of distress, then a psalm of trust in the LORD, with the third promising deliverance, blessing and peace.

Apparently, no one is sure what ascent means in the Psalms of Ascent.  Various suggestions have included: Ascending from Babylon to Jerusalem?, Ascending to Jerusalem from the outlying cities and towns which were usually lower in elevation?, Ascending to the temple in Jerusalem?  Ascending the fifteen steps to the Ezekiel 40 temple?. Perhaps, it refers to ascending to heaven in the rapture.

Unless they have been aborted. It is curious. In the late 1960s and 1970s, Americans were told not to have children as there were too many people in the world. Then liberals decided to bring the third world among us in huge numbers with the change in the immigration law in 1965, to make us the United Nations. Freedom of religion referred to the Christian religion. Jews were given a pass. Liberals gave the whole world a pass, and many who were brought in hate America. As Hosea, prophet to the northern kingdom of Israel, said to Israel in Hosea 7:9 Aliens have devoured his strength, but he does not know it.

The last event of the seventy weeks of Daniel, noted in 9:24 And to anoint the Most Holy.                   I had thought this referred to Christ, but experts say it refers to the temple of God.

132:11 The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it; “I will set upon your throne the fruit of your body. ”                    Jesus enthroned forevermore after Armageddon???

133:1  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity.  The 12 tribes reunited in peace??

3 It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion, for there the LORD commanded the blessing- Life Forevermore (end of the 6000 years and the final and 70th week of Daniel?).

JR Church related sometimes the Psalms appeared to be a year or two off.

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return to the LORD; for He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken but He will bind us up.

2 After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight. 

These two verses are often used to explain the Jews return to form Israel at midnight on May 14-15. The temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD when the Romans captured the city. 1,878 years later, Israel was reestablished with 2 Peter 3:8 and Psalm 90:4 both saying a thousand years was like a day to the LORD. I believe this is accurate and true. Using 360 day years decreases the interval to 1,852.0 years.

However, there is a problem. Hosea was a prophet to the northern kingdom of Israel, not Judah. Does it apply to the northern kingdom also? The northern kingdom was established on Solomon’s death in 931 BC. God promised to honor Jeroboam, king of the northern kingdom of Israel if he followed Him. Unfortunately, Jeroboam put up golden calves as the northern kingdom’s gods to keep his people away from the temple in Jerusalem in 1 Kings 12:31. Jeroboam made priests from every class of people and not just the Levites (1 Kings12:31) as God had commanded. Finally, he changed the feast dates, God’s appointed times from the seventh to the eighth month.(1 Kings 12:33). Adding two thousand years to 931 BC yields 1069 AD, but since there is no year zero, you add a year to get 1070 AD. Did anything happen about this time. The last successful invasion of England occurred in 1066 by William the Conqueror from Normandy, of Viking heritage. When I was growing up in the 1960s and the British Empire was fondly remembered, this was considered a pivotal date in world history. Before then, England looked inward; afterwards, she began to take part in the affairs of greater Europe.

Remember that 360 day years occurred till about 701 BC. Presuming Jeroboam put up the golden calves and other things to antagonize the LORD in 931 BC, you must subtract 230 years of 360 days from your 2,000 years yielding 1,770 years of 360 days per year, or 637,200 days divided by 365.2422 equals 1,744.6 years. Subtract 701 from this gives 1043.6 years. Add one for no year zero = 1044.6 AD, which is still close to 1066 AD. Hosea 6:1-2 could be a double prophecy, but certainly it would include the northern kingdom of Israel,

Is there more? Could it also refer to the church founded in 32 or 33 AD?  Presuming the establishment in 32 AD, we are now in the year 2026 or about 1,993 years since the founding. We still have Daniel’s final week of seven years of 360 days per year to go.     

From what I read, Christ was crucified in 32 or 33 AD on the Jewish Feast of First Fruits. The church was founded fifty days later on the Jewish Feast of Weeks, always on Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset in Jerusalem per Leviticus 23:11,16. Hence, the 2,000^th anniversary of the church will be in either 2032 or 2033. I favor 2032, as the 2000^th anniversary of the church. That is about seven years from now, and Daniel’s final or 70^th week consists of seven years with each year being 360 days in length.

There are some interesting possibilities regarding Revelation, i.e., Daniel’s final or 70^th week. Malachi 4:5 Behold, I (God) will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the LORD. Elijah is one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3-11. Elijah was noted for calling fire down from heaven per 2 Kings 1:9-12. Now the false witness of Revelation 13:11-14 who has two horns like a lamb but speaks like a dragon is also able to bring fire down from heaven deceiving the earth dwellers, but how is he deceiving them? Is he trying to say he is the true Elijah? If that is so, perhaps the anti-Christ will portray himself as Christ. From Revelation 13:3,12, we know he receives a deadly wound from which he is healed, though Zechariah 11:17 notes he will be blinded in his right eye and have a withered arm. Perhaps, God will have him killed on Passover. Should that occur, the anti-Christ might say he is Jesus Christ returned and resurrected on the third day. If he were killed on the night of Passover, he could be resurrected on the third day with the first day being lighted Passover day (Remember a Jewish day goes sunset to sunset), but actually the second day of Unleavened Bread (UB) to go along with his false prophet claiming to be Elijah. Per Daniel 9:27, Then he (the anti-Christ) shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering, and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate. I believe the week refers not only to the middle of a period of seven Biblical years of 360 days each, though not the precise middle, but also the week of seven days known as Unleavened Bread that begins the day after Passover. Hence, it is a double prophecy. If so, the anti-Christ is killed on the night of Passover, resurrected on the third day (actually, the second day of UB), and he starts the Great Tribulation on the fourth day of the seven days of UB, in the middle of the week. 

I find this fascinating as sometimes the length of time between the fourth day of UB, the middle of the seven days of UB, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the Mosaic feast on which I believe the LORD will return to reign, not rapture, is sometimes 1260 days, the length of the Great Tribulation. By my calculations, it is true for each of the five Passovers from 2027 to 2031, but not 2026 or 2032. However, Christ was resurrected on the third day of Unleavened Bread, but also on the Feast of First Fruits, which per Leviticus 23:11 is always after the Jewish Sabbath beginning in Jerusalem at sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday. Hence, First Fruits would always be from sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday in Jerusalem. I believe per Joshua 6 that the children of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, the seven days of Unleavened Bread (UB), and the wall of the city fell down on the Feast of First Fruits per Joshua 6:19. All the gold, silver, bronze, and iron were dedicated to the LORD. All humans except Rahab, the harlot, and her family, were killed as were all the livestock. In the coming conquest of Canaan, there would be many cities for the people to loot, but Jericho was First Fruits dedicated to the LORD. Also, it should be noted that the first and seventh day of UB are considered High Sabbaths, Sabbaths regardless of the day of the week. In 140 AD, I have read the Jews changed First Fruits to the day after the first High Sabbath, hence, Passover would be 14 Nisan, the first High Sabbath on 15 Nisan, and First Fruits on 16 Nisan, but that is not what I get from the previously cited verses of Leviticus and Joshua. This would also change the date of the fourth Mosaic feast of Weeks, fifty days after First Fruits with First Fruits being day one. Hence, First Fruits and Weeks would always be from sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday from my interpretation. Passover in 2030 begins Nisan 14, Wednesday, April 17 at sunset to Thursday, April 18 at sunset. God may allow the anti-Christ to be resurrected on Nisan 16, the third day (with the lighted day of Passover on Nisan 14 counting as one day), on Friday, April 19 at sunset to Saturday, April 20 at sunset, the day after the High Sabbath or Shabot of Nisan 15.   

I suspect that God will resurrect the two witnesses on First Fruits, sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday, according to Leviticus 23:11. Remember, they are resurrected after three and one-half days. Perhaps, the anti-Christ and the two witnesses will both be killed on Passover night beginning sunset Wednesday, April 17, 2030. Perhaps, the beast from the bottomless pit will kill the two witnesses shortly after the anti-Christ is assassinated. The anti-Christ will know the day the two witnesses will be killed because their mission lasts 1260 days. He may not be aware that he too will be killed just before or after them. Anti-Christ means not only against Christ, but also in place of Christ. He may take extensive precautions to prevent his own death, but they will not avail him if my interpretation is correct. Everything will go according to the LORD’s schedule. At the anti-Christ’s death, Satan will recognize there is much to gain by being resurrected on the third day. He can claim to be the resurrected Jesus. After all, he already has a false prophet masquerading as Elijah, who can call fire down from heaven per Revelation 13:13 (See also the first chapter of 2 Kings), and at the time of his resurrection, the real Elijah has been killed. The anti-Christ is resurrected the third day, First Fruits per 140 AD interpretation or 16 Nisan on Friday sunset, April 19 to Saturday sunset, April 20, but not like Jesus on 17 Nisan, First Fruits, Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset,  with the two witnesses also being resurrected the third day of UB (Unleavened Bread) on First Fruits, 17 Nisan, on sunset Saturday, April 20, to sunset Sunday, April 21. The following day, sunset Sunday to sunset Monday, in the midst of the seven-day feast of Unleavened Bread (Dan 9:27, Lev 23:11), the abomination of desolation is set up in the Jerusalem temple to begin the 1260-day Great Tribulation. The extra day may be to give Israelis time to get out of Jerusalem before the slaughter begins

As already noted, the time from the fourth day of UB to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement (Christ is our Atonement) is sometimes 1260 days. This occurs from the Passovers beginning 2027 to Passover 2031. For Passover 2029, sunset Friday, 30 March, they would have appeared 1260 days earlier per Revelation 11:3, on the day beginning sunset 17 October to sunset 18 October, 2025 in Jerusalem, and they were no shows. I am still looking for their appearance on 2030 or 2031. Passover in 2030 begins at sunset on Wednesday, April 17 to sunset Thursday, April 18. By my calculations above, this could be the time of his and the two witnesses’ deaths, both killed on the night of Passover, the anti-Christ resurrected on the third day, the following Saturday before sunset, and the two witnesses resurrected shortly thereafter, but on First Fruits, Sunday, one day later, sometime between sunset Saturday and sunset Sunday as required by Leviticus 23:11.

For the Psalms of Ascent to be a factor here, the Messiah would come around 2032 to 2034, although sometimes they are a year or two early or late. If the fourth day of UB in 2030 is the starting point for the Great Tribulation, then the LORD should come to reign in 2033, about 2,000 years after the birth of the church. 

In Matthew 24:30, Christ spoke of His coming to reign. In verse 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree.  When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 “So you also when you see all these things know that it is near- at the doors! 34 “Assuredly, I say to you this generation will not pass away till all these things take place.    The fig tree is said to represent Israel as a nation. This occurred again at midnight between May 14 and 15 in 1948. If He returns in 2033, it will be a little over 84 years. In Psalm 90:10, it states the average life span (generation) of a man is seventy years, but by virtue of strength, he may make 80 years. According to the internet, the average citizen of Israel lives to be 83.77 years in 2025. Add that to April 14, 1948, puts you into 2032. Only 70% of Israel is Jewish and Jews, according to the internet, tend to live a few years beyond the average.    

The time between the fourth day of UB in 2031 and Yom Kippur in 2034 is also 1260 days, the length of the Great Tribulation. The anti-Christ could still be killed on Passover and resurrected on the third day, but Passover begins on a Monday, April 7 at sunset. Hence, for the two witnesses to be killed on Passover, they must be killed by just before sunset on Tuesday, April 8, 2031. They would have to be resurrected in three and a half days or by about just before dawn on Saturday, April 12. First Fruits is on Saturday, April 12, at sundown to Sunday, April 13, at sundown in Jerusalem to meet the criteria for Leviticus 23:11 of sunset Saturday to sunset Sunday. Hence, if killed on Passover, they could not be resurrected on First Fruits by my calculations. I urge you to do your own. 

I believe the final week of Daniel will end on Hanukkah from Daniel 12:11 “And from the time the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.” However, the Great Tribulation is only 1260 days. I believe the last thirty days is to cleanse the desecrated temple which must be done before Daniel’s 70 weeks are completed per Daniel 9:24 “… to anoint the Most Holy (place)”. Daniel 12:12 “Blessed is he who waits and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.” First, we had an extra 30 days after the Great Tribulation and now another 45. Why? Hanukkah is always 74 or 75 days after Yom Kippur when I believe Christ will return to destroy His enemies before Jerusalem for Armageddon on Yom Kippur, but I suspect the final week of Daniel will end on the eight-day Feast of Hanukkah, likely the first or the last day. Hanukkah is the Feast of Lights. Christ was the Light of the World while in it; His church, when He left.  It is also the Rededication of the Temple referring to the first Hanukkah per 164 BC after Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated it three years earlier. I think the feast also refers to the future rededication.

According to the internet, Hanukkah, 2033, begins at sunset in Jerusalem on Friday Dec 16 to Saturday Dec 24. If the last day of Hanukkah ends Daniel’s final week of seven Biblical years, each being 360 days, then the final week should begin the Jewish day that begins at sunset on about 30 January, 2027 in Jerusalem. If the final week of Daniel ends on the first day of Hanukkah, the final day would begin at  about sunset 22 January, 2033, in Jerusalem. If the LORD returns on Yom Kippur on Sunday at sunset on October 2 to Monday, sunset October 3, 2033, and it takes 30 days to cleanse the temple or sunset Nov 1 to sunset Nov 2, Jerusalem time, with this ending the final or 70^th week of Daniel, then the final week should begin about 9 December, 2026, by my calculations.

If the two witnesses were killed on Passover, 2030, or at sunset Wednesday, April 17 to Thursday, April 18, in Jerusalem, then they would come forth about November 5, 2026. I urge you to do your own calculations, as I could be off by a day or more. It is interesting to note Psalm 126:1 When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion…  and 126:4 Bring back our captivity, O LORD…                       

Per Matthew 17:11, one of his purposes is to restore all things.  What will he restore? Answer: the 12 tribes of Israel to include the rest of the Jews living outside of Israel and the lost tribes per Ezekiel 37. The two witnesses will identify and call for the return of the lost tribes of Israel.

America’s midterm election for House and Senate is on 3 November, 2026. If the rapture of the church occurred before then, the Dems would likely take over House and Senate. A Muslim, Zohran Mandavi, was recently elected Mayor of New York City. He endorsed three of the most radical Dems in the Democratic primary on 23 June, 2026, and all 3 won over liberal Dem opponents in New York City where winning the Democratic primary equals victory in the fall. Another radical Dem won in the Democratic primary in Denver, Colorado, last week.  I suspect America would soon be in chaos with the Dems in charge. All true Christian conservatives would be raptured leaving the country to the godless. I suspect the dollar and the stock market would both collapse. The borders would be open again. I suspect God’s judgement would fall on the country thereafter to include earthquakes on the West Coast, and also tsunamis from San Francisco to Washington State plus earthquakes at the New Madrid Fault in the center of the country around St. Louis. There is a volcano in the Canary Islands off Africa whose western face will one day fall into the sea, producing an enormous tsunami heading for the East Coast and the Caribbean. The super volcano Yellowstone could erupt as well. Of course, not all of these may occur.

I hope the LORD will rapture His church before Daniel’s final or 70^th week begins. Many believe the rapture will be on the Hebrew Feast of Trumpets, beginning this year of 2026 on the first of Tishri, the 7^th Jewish month or in Jerusalem at sunset on 11 September to sunset 12 September. If the crescent moon is not seen that night, the feast falls one day later. My second choice would be the harvest feast of Tabernacles, beginning on 15 Tishri for seven days, this year beginning at sunset in Jerusalem on 25 September and ending at sunset on 2 October though the next day is also a High Sabbath regardless of the day of the week. I do not think the LORD will return on the 9^th of AV, a day of disaster for Israel, in that Herod’s and Solomon’s temples were both burned on this day and month. What greater disaster could there be for Israel than the rapture of the church? I cannot totally exclude this date, this year sunset 22 July to sunset 23 July in Jerusalem. Likewise, I cannot totally exclude Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism, the only day the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies in the temple with a blood sacrifice, i.e., the holiest man entered the holiest place on the holiest day. Could that be the church (one man) entering the holiest place of heaven on the holiest day? I cannot exclude this day either though I think Trumpets followed by Tabernacles are the top two choices. Yom Kippur begins at sunset on 10 Tishri, this year from 20 September at sunset in Jerusalem to sunset on 21 September. For the sake of completeness, I add the 17^th day of the 2^nd civil month that per Genesis 7:11 was the month and day of the Great Flood. This year it begins at sunset in Jerusalem on 27 October, 2026, added because the midterm elections are the 3^rd of November, 2026. Trumpets is especially good as it is the only feast of the crescent moon, the New Moon, a symbol of Islam. What would the Muslims think it their worst enemies were removed on the crescent moon?
