18. The Final Week of Daniel in the Psalms?
I believe the Bible clearly teaches that Christ’s millennium of Revelation 20 is the Sabbath millennium of a Biblical week with each millennium representing a day in the week. I covered this in my very first writing using verses Psalm 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8, Hebrews 4:1-11, especially verse 4, and others. There were three periods within the initial 6,000 years, each approximately 2,000 years as follows: 1. Creation with the Flood at year 1656 after creation and Abram born 2008 years after creation, 2. Then about 2,000 years of Israel till the birth of Christ, 3. Then about 2,000 years of the church. We are at the end of this third period. If this interpretation is correct, then Christ should soon return. However, I first started looking for Him about 22 years ago, based on Archbishop Ussher’s several centuries ago calculation of creation beginning on 23 October, 4004 BC. This was inscribed in many Bibles in the 1800s. If Ussher were correct, the final or 70th week of Daniel should have begun about 1997. I am still waiting, but I believe Ussher was off by a few years. Do we have any other information suggesting the LORD will soon return? In Matthew 24:32, Christ said, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near- at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.”
Earlier in this chapter in verse 30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” This refers to His coming to reign (not rapture) towards the end of Daniel’s final or 70th week which must be within the final generation.
The Jewish sages say the fig tree is political Israel, which came into being on midnight May 14- 15, 1948. Per Psalm 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years. According to the Internet on May 26, 2018, the average life span of an Israeli is 82.5 years; an American 79.3 years. However, I prefer the maximum of eighty years in Psalm 90:10. Of course, I could be wrong. It might be 82.5 years, but I doubt it is greater than this.
Seventy years, since Israel’s rebirth, were completed at midnight on May 14- 15, 2018. To me that means there are only ten more years for the LORD to come per Psalm 90:10. And I believe He will come towards the end of the final or 70th week of Daniel which is seven Biblical years of 360 days each, or 36 or 37 days short of seven calendar years. Hence, the final week of Daniel must begin in the next 3 years, more likely 2 years, since I believe Hanukkah will end the final week of Daniel, and He will come to reign, not rapture, on the preceding Yom Kippur of the same year. Many believe the anti-Christ will be revealed when he confirms a covenant with the many (Israel?). Perhaps, assuming the many refers to Israel. The final week may have already begun, but per 2 Thessalonians 2:7- 8, the anti-Christ will not be revealed till after the rapture.
Does the rapture appear in the Psalms with Psalm 1 being 1901; 2, 1902; 100, 2000; 118, 2018. Earlier, I thought I knew the answer, but I was wrong in lesson 6, and also in my book, about the timing of the final week, according to the psalms. Now I try again, but I do not say God told me thus, because He did not. I simply believe the LORD is coming soon to rapture His church. I also believe the psalms are a code, and there is a message. Perhaps I have finally cracked the code; perhaps not. Only time will tell.
When Christ rode the donkey’s colt into Jerusalem per Matthew 21:9, fulfilling Zechariah 9:9, the people roared: “Blessed be He who comes in the name of the LORD.” He came on the tenth of Nisan when the Passover lambs were presented to the priests to be sure they were perfect for sacrifice. The Pharisees did not find Him perfect per Luke 19:39, but He set them straight in the next verse. He told them in Matthew 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate (less than 40 years later, the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple); 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’”
The prerequisite for the return of Christ to reign is for the people and leadership of Israel to say and believe, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!” As already noted, many of the people said this at His triumphal entry, circa 32 AD, but could it also refer to the rapture by virtue of it being in Psalm 118 (2018)? JR Church in his book, Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms, wrote the psalm could be a year late or early, but let’s presume it’s correct for 2018 and see where we go.
Psalm 118 is the middle chapter and it has the middle verse in the Bible 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
It is located between the shortest chapter (Psalm 117) and the longest chapter (Psalm 119) in the Bible. It is filled with Messianic verses: 22 The stone (Christ) which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. 24 This is the day the LORD has made (the day He returns, but could it encompass all three returns- when He rode the donkey’s colt into Jerusalem circa 32 AD, the rapture in 2018? and His return to reign about seven years later?) 26 Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD. If Psalm 118 represents 2018, it is interesting to know 2018 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the state of Israel.
I had earlier stated the six days of creation were a model for the millennial week as noted below: Day 1- God separated the light from the darkness and said the light was good. Adam and Eve had the choice between following God (the Light) and following anything else (the darkness). They chose the darkness, and mankind became worse and worse during this millennium.
Day 2- God created the sea and the sky, but nothing was said to be good. In the second millennium after creation, man was so evil that he was wiped off the face of the Earth via the Flood. In essence, God recreated the second day of creation with only sea and sky save the persons and animals on the ark. This also wiped out the Nephilim (half-man, half- angel, think Goliath, see lesson 4 on the sons of God) in Satan’s plan to adulterate the DNA of mankind, and fallen angels were chained. At the end of the millennium of the Flood, man built the tower of Babel, and rebelled against God again. Small wonder God did not bless the second day. Nothing was good about it.
Day 3- The land appeared and God blessed it. Then the plants appeared, and God blessed them also. The third day is the day of double blessing. Abraham was born in 2008 AC (after creation) with eight signifying a new beginning. He represented the land- the nation of Israel and his descendants. The plants were represented by the Torah (the first five books of the Bible) and the Ten Commandments- God’s instruction for life, which we are to ingest. God gave them to Moses for the nation of Israel.
Day 4- God created the sun, the moon, and the stars. The moon reflects the light of God. This would be David’s kingdom beginning in 1010 and ending in 970 BC. The sun is the birth of Christ, likely about 2 BC in the fall on Trumpets or Tabernacles with John the Baptist born on Passover about six months earlier. The stars are likely the Israelites, and not just the Jews, the royal tribe. Certainly, the tribe of Judah was founded in the preceding millennium, but I believe the term Jew began to refer to not only the persons comprising the royal tribe, but also the other tribes that stayed behind when the northern tribes left. This would include the people of the tribes of Simeon, Benjamin, and Levi, plus some from the northern tribes who either went south to worship their God in His temple or who fled the Assyrian invasions of 732 and 722 BC. I believe the tribe of Ephraim and the half-tribe of Manasseh carried off by the Assyrians in 722 BC became the Angles and the Saxons. The other lost tribes also assumed new names.
Day 5- God created the great sea beasts, such as pagan Rome at its height beginning to persecute the Christian church. Islam and the Vikings also came forth to battle Christendom. He also created the birds. The birds were the emissaries of Satan in Christ’s parable of the sower in Matthew 13:4,19. Perhaps Satan’s agents were allowed to run amok in this millennium. But the fish (Christians) also came forth though Christianity did not seem a very good bet in 1000 AD, comprising the British Isles, France, the German and Italian states, and Byzantium. At this time, Christendom was being attacked by the Turks from the southeast, the Moors from the southwest (They had conquered most of Spain at this time.), and the Vikings from the north. And then it all changed.
Day six- The land beasts came forth and at the end of the day (Remember a Jewish day runs sunset to sunset, or darkness to light. In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.) The European nations, i.e. the land animals, that came out of Israel’s teachings of God began to control the world with Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. At the end of the day man came forth comparable to the last quarter millennium when the Anglo-Saxon nations came forth, i.e. the British Empire followed by America. Likely, they are the lost Hebrew tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, who had the blessing of God through Jacob through Abraham.
Day 7- Christ’s millennial reign
Now could this also apply to the final week of Daniel with each day of creation representing a year of the final week? We shall see.
Psalm 118 (2018?) 118:27 God is the LORD, and he has given us light: … (Light created on first day of creation)
Psalm 118:19 Open to me the gates or righteousness; I will go through them, and I will praise the LORD. 20 This is the gate of the LORD, through which the righteous shall enter. 21 I will praise You, for You have answered me, and have become my salvation. Do these verses refer to the rapture? Could there be a greater separation of light from darkness than the removal of the church from the world? All believing Christians are removed from the Earth during the rapture. From my youth, I had always considered myself a Christian. However, when God began to afflict me, I discovered I knew very little about Christianity, and for most of my life I was not a Christian. I thought my parents were Christian, and thus, I would be grandfathered in. However, God has many children, but no grandchildren. If 20% of the people who profess Christianity are raptured, I will be surprised.
So what happens to America if the rapture of the church occurs in 2018 on the Feast of Trumpets? Well, I believe President Trump and Vice President Pence are both Christians. They will be gone. Paul Ryan would be President as Speaker of the House, but if he is a Christian, he will be gone, leaving the ungodly holding all levers of power, including the courts. The count in the Senate is 51 Republicans versus 49 Democrats, but the Republican John McCain is being treated for brain cancer and has not been present for several months. America would be transformed into a paradise for the ungodly, but it would not last long. I suspect the dollar would collapse as a currency shortly thereafter. In truth, God is the only reason the $ has not collapsed already. The two witnesses of Revelation 11:3- 12, would call the lost tribes, to include the Anglo-Saxon nations, home to Israel, as well as all Jews not living in Israel when they appear. Should the rapture or removal of the true church happen on Trumpets (sunset 9 Sept to sunset 10 Sept in 2018 in Jerusalem, though possibly a day later if the sky is overcast this year of 2018, i.e. the crescent moon cannot be seen) then it would be almost impossible to get new candidates on the ballot for the midterm elections in America. I believe it would matter greatly if the true Christians were gone. In the same light, if the rapture occurred on Hanukkah, all Christians would be raptured leading to new elections with only the ungodly as candidates. If the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3-12 are killed on Passover (April 15), 2022 by my calculations they would show up on 1-2 November, 2018, although they could be killed on a later Passover. Their witness is 1260 days. I believe they will be killed on Passover and resurrected after three and one-half days per Revelation 11:11 on the fourth day of the week-long Feast of Unleavened Bread (“in the midst of the week”), the same time of the year as the abomination of desolation was established a year earlier in the Holy of Holies of the Jerusalem Temple, according to the Jewish calendar-18 Nisan. Their resurrection on the first (or second if it refers to their deaths on Passover, 2023) anniversary of the setting up of the abomination of desolation could cause some people to reconsider their loyalty to the anti-Christ.
Day 1 of Daniel’s final week- God separated the light from the darkness. Church from world? Rapture?
Psalm 119 (2019?)- longest psalm in the Bible. It is interesting to note it is referred to as an acrostic psalm. The most famous acrostic in the Bible is likely found in John 19:19 Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross, and the writing was: Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. 20 Then many of the Jews read this title, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city; and it was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. 32 Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The king of the Jews,’ but, ‘He said, “I am the King of the Jews.”’” 22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”
Now this always puzzled me. Why did they want the original writing changed? The learned Jews studied acrostics, the first letter of a group of words, strung together. In Hebrew, the first letters were yod-hey-waw-hey, the unpronounceable name of God, nailed over the crucified Christ’s head. The priests were furious, but Pilate would not change his writing.
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible. It begins with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, then seven more verses beginning with the same letter, for a total of eight verses, and then it does the same thing with the next letter of the Hebrew alphabet till all 22 letters are used. Eight is the number for a new beginning. Certainly, with all the Christians gone and no Christian nations, the world will have a new beginning. Almost every verse refers to the laws, the precepts, the way, the writings, the commandments of God. One suggestive title for Psalm 119 was “the practical use of the word of God in the life of the believer.” Remember the true Christians are gone. Those left have the Bible. Myriads of people will turn to Christ during the final week of Daniel, but the true Christians are gone in the rapture of the church. Most of the new believers will be murdered during this final week of seven Biblical years.
In year two of Daniel’s final week, there is only the sea and the sky. There are no Christian nations. America, as a Christian nation, is gone. Israel is a secular nation, having no faith in her God or her Messiah as a nation. There is only the sea. Satan is also the prince of the power of the air, and the anti-Christ will begin to have more and more power over the internet, the television, and the radio.
Psalms 120- 134 are songs of ascent, supposedly ascending to the Temple in Jerusalem to worship God. Could they also refer to the new believers ascending to the heavenly Jerusalem through the persecution of the anti-Christ and Islam?
Psalm 120 (2020?) In my distress I cried to the LORD, and He heard me. 2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue. (Joseph Goebbels, Nazi propaganda minister, would have delighted in this time, that of the anti-Christ.)
3 What shall be given to you, or what shall be done to you, you false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the warrior, with coals of the broom tree!
5 Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! 6 My soul has dwelt too long with one who hates peace. 7 I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
Meshech has been said to refer to a portion of northern Turkey or to Moscow. Kedar refers to Arabia. Amos 1 & 2 gives the initial attack on Israel by her surrounding neighbors (excluding the nation of Egypt, though Islamic fundamentalist Muslims may attack through the Sinai), but in 1:1, it notes the vision occurred two years before the earthquake. I presume this refers to Ezekiel 38:19- 20, when God responds to the Russo-Muslim invasion of Israel with a great earthquake, and perhaps Revelation 6:12 also.
Kedar refers to Arabia, where Islam began. Russia will invade in Ezekiel 38 & 39 with several Islamic nations to include the remnants or Iran and Turkey, the North African and the black African nations. God will slaughter Israel’s opponents, leading to the demise of Islam and the rise of anti-Christ. Since this occurs over a two-year period, I suspect Amos 1 & 2 will occur in the first year of Daniel’s final week.
The third year is comparable to the third day, when the land appeared and the plants also, the day of double blessing. I suspect Israel, the land, will begin to come to faith after God destroys the Russo-Muslim army of Ezekiel 38 & 39, or perhaps not only the Jews outside Israel and the lost tribes to include Ephraim and Manasseh will begin to return, or both. At the same time, the Temple will begin construction or operation for the blessing of the plants.
Psalm 121 (2021?) I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help?
2. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
4 Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.
The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.
The contest is joined between the sun (Almighty God, or YHWH) and the moon (Satan himself, who can masquerade as an angel of light) with the Israelites the stars. These were created on the fourth day, also the fourth year of Daniel’s final week? Stars may also represent angels. This could be when the fallen angels are kicked out of heaven by Michael and his minions per Revelation 12:7- 10. The history channel has a Friday evening series called Ancient Aliens on the extraterrestrials who once ruled the earth before the Flood. The producers think the flying saucers of today are the vehicles of the ancient aliens who are considering showing themselves to us again. I believe the fallen angels and their children, the Nephilim (think the almost ten feet tall Goliath as an example), pilot these craft. They must return per Matthew 24:37. The abomination of desolation goes up this year to begin the 1260 days of the Great Tribulation.
Psalm 122 (2022?) I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”
2 Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,
4 Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the Testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.
5 For thrones are set there for judgement, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces."
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “peace be within you.”
9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good.
The fifth day was when the great sea beasts came forth. Could this be when the nations or persons inside the anti-Christ’s kingdom who slaughter the fish (Christians) are coming forth? The birds were also created, who I suspect are the ancient aliens, fallen angels with their offspring- the Nephilim, coming forth, also killing Christians. Perhaps the birds represent the year of the return of the fallen angels rather than the stars the year before. Time will tell.
Likely, the Israelis will retake Jerusalem at the end of the fourth year, but perhaps early the fifth year. The lost tribes will begin to come home in significant numbers in the fifth year of Daniel’s final week. Per Zechariah 14:2, God will bring all nations, including America, against Jerusalem, but that is the seventh year. Per Revelation 11:2, the Gentiles will tread the holy city underfoot for 1260 days, and the anti-Christ must be in charge of the city to put up the abomination of desolation, but he must then lose it. For some reason, the Israelis will not be able to cleanse the Temple, however. This will be done after the Great Tribulation per Daniel 12:11 in 30 days to prepare for Hanukkah, the celebration of the removal of the first, and now, the second abomination of desolation also. Hanukkah is always 74 or 75 days after Yom Kippur, the sixth Jewish feast.
Psalm 123 (2023?) Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us.
3 Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
The sixth day is when the land beasts came forth and, at the end of the day, man. The Israelites, including the lost tribes, realize their only hope for survival is in their God, and they will begin to grasp who is His Son. Now for the seventh year and Armageddon and the return of Christ.
Psalm 124 (2024?) “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say- 2 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us, 3 then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; 4 then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; 5 then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul.”
6 Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth. 7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped. 8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
The seventh day is the day the LORD rested. They await the anti-Christ summoning his armies from all over the world to Armageddon to attack Jerusalem and the Israelis in what had been Jordan (Isaiah 63:1-6). Christ returns for Armageddon, ending the Great Tribulation, and the anti-Christ is captured, his minions including the Nephilim and the fallen angels, are destroyed or captured. Israel is saved! Christ’s millennium will soon begin.
Psalm 125 (2025?)
Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forevermore.
3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land allotted to the righteous, less the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts.
5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity.
Peace be upon Israel!
Could this be year 1 of the Millennium of Christ?
